Binder Park, Jefferson City, Missouri
Date of Stay:
July, 2015 -
$18.00
Overall Rating:
This is a very nice, small city park. Full hookups. You connect to the water with an elbow used with your neighbor. This is not a problem but requires a long water hose. The site a long and paved. Every site has a covered picnic table, grill & fire pit. Very quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at Binder Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Mitchell Campground, Mitchell, South Dakota
Date of Stay:
July, 2015 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
We had to move the picnic table just to be able to back into our site. There were numerous tents camping all together just across from our site and the quiet hours were not enforced. When a fifth wheel parked beside us his slides were extremely close to ours. We would not stay here again. We camped at Lake Mitchell Campground in a Motorhome.
Came here just to see the Corn Palace. Worth it.

Pony Express Motel and RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana
Date of Stay:
July, 2015 -
$39.00
Overall Rating:
This is literally a gravel/sandy parking lot at the back of the Branding Iron motel. It rained just before arrival and the space that had been assigned to us was under water. We were fortunately to be able to move to another spot. After another heavy rain almost the entire lot was under water. It was a mess. We stayed here only because it was convenient for the Yellowstone tour that picks up at the hotel. We would not stay here again. We camped at Pony Express Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Snake River RV Park & Campground, Idaho Falls, Idaho
Date of Stay:
July, 2015 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
Our site was the first one located just behind the very large propane gas tank right in the middle of the parking lot. Our picnic table was literally on the parking lot pavement just across from the tank. We asked to be moved and was told there was nothing wrong with that space. This space should have never been designated as a campsite. In addition there was horrific noise being done in the middle of the night from the highway. We would not stay here again. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, Montana
Date of Stay:
July, 2015 -
$37.00
Overall Rating:
Large gravel sites spaciously spaced. Park is very well maintained with just enough trees and landscaping. At first thought the proximity to the interstate would be a problem but noticed only minimal traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Motorhome.
The Smokejumpers training facility in Missoula is very interesting.

Campsites were adequately spaced on gravel pad. Laundry facility was nice but small for size of campground. Pretty lake with beach area for relaxing or renting a kayak or paddle boat. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Icicle River RV Park, Leavenworth, Washington
Date of Stay:
July, 2015 -
$36.00
Overall Rating:
Our campsite was right on the river. It was level with dirt, no gravel or pad. The laundry facility is not adequate for the size of the campground but manageable. We would stay here again. We camped at Icicle River RV Park in a Motorhome.
You have to drive or take a taxi into town.

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

This was one of the cleanest parks we have stayed in on our trip west. This is a new RV park with wide spaces and far enough off of the highway that the traffic noise was minimal. Laundry room and showers were spotless. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Marin Park, Greenbrae, California
Date of Stay:
May, 2015 -
$59.00
Overall Rating:
This is a no frills park but has very helpful and friendly staff. It does have a significant amount of traffic noise but otherwise quiet. We chose it because of its location to the ferry. It is within an easy 10 min. walk to the ferry that takes you into San Francisco. We camped at Marin Park in a Motorhome.
