Silver Saddle Ranch Resort, California City, California

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

What we liked most about Silver Saddle Ranch was the peace and quiet. It is a large resort acreage so there was plenty of room to get away from the central complex. The park is also located about 12 miles from town which really gives a sense of being away from it all. Nice ponds, landscaping and lots of trees added to the country feel. On the down side...the central complex closes mid week so be prepared for that. And, on weekends they have a LOT of families come up to visit so it gets busy. Not much in the way of on-site RV services so come prepared. Otherwise, a very nice spot to spend a week. We camped at Silver Saddle Ranch Resort in a Motorhome.

Silver Saddle Ranch Resort, California City, California

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet during February but beautiful. Resort has small lake surrounded by park setting. The pool was not open (too cold) but the hot tub was (loved it!). Restaurant open just on weekends but that was fine with us. Come stocked as California City is 20 minute drive by car. We camped at Silver Saddle Ranch Resort in a Motorhome.

McArthur's Temple View RV Resort, St George, Utah

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Loved it here. First impression was friendly people and clean park. Next impression was loads to do and friendly neighbors. This was our first time here and we both agreed that it would be a new winter getaway for us. We only stayed for three nights but wishing that had been weeks. Perfect weather probably helped. We camped at McArthur's Temple View RV Resort in a Motorhome.
