Sunnyside RV Park, Sunnyside, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

We had a level full hookup pull through approximately 25 by 55 on packed stone, perfect length for our RV and enclosed motorcycle trailer. Owners do all they can to make their campers happy and safe. Salt water pool is heated and frequently cleaned with large shaded pavilion nearby. Only 2 bathrooms but they are HUGE, handicapped accessible, free showers, nice decorations. Yes, slight odor from farms, wifi could be stronger, no fire rings, and minimal shade. However, we came for 3 days and stayed 10. Easy to see why several nurses choose to live here full-time. We camped at Sunnyside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Safeway, Ace hardware, Dollar tree, O'Reilly's, Rite Aid and Walmart within a few miles. Mostly Mexican stores and restaurants. Use 1-82 east and west bound or 97 coming north from the Gorge. 241 and 221 are winding roads with steep grades-- great for views but not for towing.

Cascade Locks / Portland East KOA, Cascade Locks, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Outdoor mats not allowed, made RV messy as grounds were wet. We never use pool, hot tub, bathrooms. Seems overpriced for water/electric/sewer, cable, weak WiFi. Stayed here because nothing else available. We camped at Cascade Locks / Portland East KOA in a Motorhome.

Tween the Lakes Campground (formerly Exit 31 RV Park), Grand Rivers, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Location is great and cement pads level. Hookups at rear of pad and require LONG cords and hoses. May have been a pleasant campground but is now rundown. Very loose registration system. Gravel interior roads are deeply rutted, many old permanent trailers along perimeter are unkempt. No extra charge for AC. Restaurant seems popular with locals. Not worth the fee, will not return or recommend. We camped at Tween the Lakes Campground (formerly Exit 31 RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Orbit RV Park, Grant, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly, laid back older campground. Manager goes out of his way to foster interaction between long term and short term guests. We barely parked and were urged to come for potluck. Also we enjoyed a free cooking lesson and wine tasting, and invitation to play bridge, etc. Grassy pull thru was levelnand wide with concrete patio and drained well during heavy rainstorm. Heading northbound on Route 1 in or out of the park is tricky with the divided highway. Also trains run close by. We camped at Orbit RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beaver Lake Campground, Quincy, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very strange setup as directions say to check in at the BP gas station, which has closed. Office is unmarked and very dirty. Passport America sites are on rutted grass with rusted electrical boxes. There are some level sites near entrance. Noise from the highway is constant. At $20 it was very overpriced. We camped at Beaver Lake Campground in a Motorhome.
