Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in 2010 before it got busy, now it is full of campers and is still very clean. Even the full timers keep their sites clean of junk. We will stay again.

Very easy on and off I-40. Didn't use the bathhouse, but did peek in and it was very clean...each one is private so you can lock the door and feel safe. they offer a cooked meal you can order..hamburgers, chips and drink for $5....also offer donuts and coffee in the mornings....don't know if you have to pay for that??? Wi-fi was good. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Greer's Pine Shadows, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a park for just one or two nights. It is not a pretty park or good place for family...roads are very tight and hard to tell what is a site or road at times. Too many permanent campers to the point it's mostly a trailer park...no cable, sites very close, can not sit outside as there is no room to put chairs out. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Motorhome.

Red Canyon RV Park and Campground, Panguitch, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

It was the closest park to Bryce Canyon. Our site was not that level, but doable. Prices here are very high so if coming pack lots of food for your stay. NO cable ...wifi was good. Picnic table had to set on a slant and no room to put chairs out just for sitting outside. We camped at Red Canyon RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp), Nellis AFB, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is our fist time staying at a military park, it is wonderful. Easy access to Vegas and shopping. Laundry room is close and cheap price, .75 to wash and dry a load of clothes. No dog runs, but they do have areas for dogs to do their business...just wish folks would clean up after their dogs..always will have some that are not thankful for a dog area and will not pick it up. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

White Tank Regional Park, Waddell, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a county park that is very nice for county. NO sewer, wi-fi or cable. If you are looking to get away from it all, then this is your place. Scenery was beautiful. close to town for shopping for supplies. We have friends in the area and would go back. We camped at White Tank Regional Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You have to pay the $8 park fee even when you camp there. If you like to hike then this is your park. Very cool in the evenings, but warm daytime. Have to watch for rattlesnakes if out walking. It would be a perfect park if it had sewer.

Caravan Oasis RV Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a 55+ resort, we were in the overnight section even tho we stayed a few days. No internet at your site, had to go down to the library they have to use it. No cable either. Have to buy a card to load to do wash, not happy with that. Dog run was good, fenced in and kept clean. It's mostly a large parking lot. We camped at Caravan Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Canyon RV Park, Anaheim, California

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is a pretty park however there is no cable nor any wi-fi for the price. If you have family in the area they have to pay $10 per car to come visit you each day. Traffic in CA is terrible, have no plan to come back here. the man in the office is crappy, the lady is not. We camped at Canyon RV Park in a Motorhome.

Laguna Vista RV Park, Marshall, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

It was a gravel parking lot with hook-up, very tight...wifi was useless, could not get on. Pictures on the website is not what you see when you get there. They charge 4% if you use a credit card. We paid cash and felt the $32.00 was too much for what you get. We camped at Laguna Vista RV Park in a Motorhome.

Midway Park COE, Waco, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

The park its self is a nice park. The roads are paved and the sites are paved, it's a pretty park. The bad thing is as you come through the gate there is a motor home under an awning that looks like crap...lots of junk around it. We think it was the camp host site. We were surprised that a COE park would allow the site to be like that. The bath house needs to be updated, dead bugs all over, did not look like it had been sweep out in months. There was a do not enter sign that is down and at no time did we see the camp host even try to fix it. It's close to everything and has great views...just needs some TLC. We camped at Midway Park COE in a Motorhome.

Magnolia RV Park and Campground, Kinards, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here with our Good Sam Club from Augusta, GA. Sites were very level, not much space for sitting outside, but it was so hot no one wanted to, no cable at all, wifi was good. We had a pull in site. Pool was wonderful and they have a dog pen area for walking your dog, just be careful as lots of ticks falling from trees. Nice room upstairs for gathering and the prices inside the store was not as high as other parks. It's right off I-26 so easy on and off for traveling. It's a good place to stop for the night. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walking track in Joanne, Rose Hill Plantation SHS between Whitmore and Union, SC...follow Hwy 66 E to Whitmore and pick up Hwy 176 N toward Union and then follow signs, good tour of home and grounds...then there is a Musgrove Mill SHS on hwy 59. Also in Greenville, SC there is a Falls Park downtown that is well worth the trip. Beautiful place. Nice Walmart in Laurens for restocking food while traveling.

Watson Mill Bridge State Park, Comer, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We camped with our Good Sams Club. It's a very nice park. Camp sites are easy in and out and big. The only thing we noticed was, the first night, the bathrooms were not very clean. We rarely saw the camp host and had to ask the main office to have the bathrooms cleaned. After that it was clean for the week. The one thing we didn't like was the fact there were tree branches down which had not been picked up. No one had gone around and inspected sites as the tag for the people before us was still on the clip board even though they had left. Trash was in the fire ring We camped at Watson Mill Bridge State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It's the site of an old grist mill from the early 1900's so lots of history to see and trails to hike. Not much else to do. There is a Antique store on the old Hwy 72 outside of Comer that has tons of stuff, vintage clothes and old iron works for restoring old homes.
