Aquia Pines Camp Resort, Stafford, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This resort is on the side of a mountain. It was hard to level the RV. Water pressure was low. The pull-through we had was long enough for our RV plus truck. Not very friendly when we checked in and didn't give us any paperwork as to what the park had to offer. No dog run. They need to trim some of the bushes. Should not be called a resort. Price was too high for what the park looked like. Don't look to go back there again. We camped at Aquia Pines Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were up there to see the last flight of the CH-46 that the Marine Corps was retiring. Air and Space Museum and the Marine Corps Museum was very good. Traffic in Stafford is bumper to bumper after 3 PM.

Really nice park, easy in and out from I-90. Several things to do in the park. Price was higher then we usually like to pay, but we would stay again when passing through. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.

Minneapolis Northwest KOA, Rogers, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Park looks nice, but needs some work on the office. Water there is heavy on the iron at camp sites. Laundry and showers are on a soft water system. Lots of mosquitoes. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.
