Timber Ridge Campground, Amherst, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was really friendly. Clean enough indoor pool. Restrooms were few and far between, so we didn't make our way to them. I gave this a poor rating due to lack of a picnic table at the site, being in a open field with no shade and what seemed like construction (large piles of gravel, construction equipment with long grass growing around it and large pipes) next to our site. Lots of seasonal and permanent residents. I feel the pictures on the website are misleading, it looks like you will be camping in woods and shows an empty field, the field is now covered with motorhomes and those in the wooded area don't look like they have moved in some time (large built on porches) again everyone was super friendly. Just wasn't the camp grounds I expected from the pictures on the website. We camped at Timber Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Campus Park & Ride, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We did not actually stay here, since kids were bummed to see it was a parking lot not a camp ground. I knew this but did not think they would care, they did. Also one camper looked a little sketchy and I did not feel comfortable sleeping next to it with small children. Would work great for a couple looking to stay in Philly and not do anything but sleeping in their RV. Would not recommend to a family. If it had been just me and my husband we would have stayed. Has full hookups. We camped at Campus Park & Ride in a Motorhome.

Ridge Ranch Campground, Newton Falls, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived late and left early, due to tight travel plans. Lots of tall trees, very level grounds, gated. Didn't have a chance to meet staff, but they were super helpful over the phone. Tons of vintage playground equipment, a bit rough around the edges, but kids didn't mind. Swimming pond looked nice but we didn't have a chance to use. Easy pull thru sites. We camped at Ridge Ranch Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountainview Campground, Milford, New Jersey

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Wow! This was a refreshing twist to RV camping. Way off the beaten path we saw some amazing old houses on our way to this site. Trees and fields, plenty of space for kids to run and play, loads of wildlife including deer, beavers and chipmunks. Bathrooms were shocking clean for such a rustic location. These owners definitely aim to please. Located just outside of Easton this was a great pit stop on our way to Crayola Experience, I only wish we could have stayed longer. Millions of stars and fireflys at night.... No lights anywhere near this camp ground. If your looking to rough it with electric and water this is the place to go! Cash only. We camped at Mountainview Campground in a Motorhome.

Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA, Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Clean bathrooms. Very nice pool & kiddy pool. Batting cages (did not use) after arriving at a less desirable camp site we called here and even though they were fully booked the staff was kind enough to allow us to park our 26' motorhome at a tent site near water and electric hookup. Playground was a bit dated and had grass growing thru the sand, but the kids didn't mind and played there most of our stay, when they weren't in the pool or feeding the baby ducks at the pound. About 10 miles from the speed train to Philadelphia this was a great place for us to stay and visit the historic Philly area. We camped at Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA in a Motorhome.

Four Seasons Campgrounds, Scotrun, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen camping, cleaner than some people's homes! Lots of trees/shade, roomy sites with picnic tables like new and freshly emptied fire pits. Lots of camp goodies/gear in the store plus a little ice cream shop that was delicious! Drinking allowed at campsites only. Pool locked at all times, must ask staff to enter. Playground was old fashioned see-saw, swings and merry-go-round, but very well kept, with a fresh coat of paint. Children under 6 must be supervised at all times at camp site, in restrooms, in store, at pool and playground. Very quiet, well run facility. We camped at Four Seasons Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Hersheypark Camping Resort, Hummelstown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Great gift shop. Large clean pool. Bathrooms were pretty clean for the heavy traffic. Good playground next to shelter and communal fire pit. Roomy sites with full hookup, clean picnic table & fire ring. Lots of trees/shade. A shuttle to Hershey Park & Attractions. We would stay here again. We stayed in a 26' motorhome, in a back in site by the creek, pull thru sites available. We camped at Hersheypark Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
