Raleigh Oaks RV Resort, Four Oaks, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Stayed here a couple of years ago and it was nice, but since then they have improved the park even more with neatly landscaped grounds and neatly groomed RV sites. Park paths and sites are rock with wood borders. Easily accessible hook-ups. This park really goes out of the way to serve the campers. They provided Hamburger Steak, gravy, onions, green beans Thursday night $3.00 per plate; happy hour for adults Friday night with complimentary beer, wine and snacks; hamburger, hotdogs, chips and lemonade for $5.00 per plate Saturday night, followed by poolside DJ and dancing. Great family environment. Excellent experience. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC), College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Wonderful location to Washington and Baltimore. We've been to Washington many times but first time to the Museum of the Bible and Air & Space Museum at Dulles (amazing). Convenient transportation via Metro and interstates. Staff and facilities were excellent. Stayed in site 606, premium pull thru, spacious, level and easily accessible. Only issue was a wedding reception was held at the Ballroom and the thruway to the Ballroom ran by our site. Wedding party didn't understand the importance of low speed within a campground. Speed control should be stressed to non-campers by guards when granting admission. Enjoyed our stay. Will come back. We camped at Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC) in a Travel Trailer.
