Black Rock Mountain State Park , Mountain City, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Typical GA state park, i.e., excellent overall. Long winding grade to park but we saw large motor homes on site who made it. Not a lot to do except hike but that's fine--pretty area. Recommended. Easy sites but kinda close to neighbors. We camped at Black Rock Mountain State Park in a Truck Camper.

Great place, not crowded. Sites well spaced and shaded. Only issue? Mosquitoes! We camped at Skidaway Island State Park in a Truck Camper.

Blue Heron Campground & Resort, Flippin, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is utilitarian with gravel but well maintained roads and hookup sites. The bath house was modest but clean and the owner was compliant and helpful. The Wi-Fi was weak and the park is near a busy highway bridge causing some road noise (although it did not bother us). The campground is located on a river and fishing is readily available. Access to the grounds was easy. We would stay there again albeit not for a long stay. We camped at Blue Heron Campground & Resort in a Truck Camper.
