Indian Point COE, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park is located in a beautiful part of the Branson/ Table Rock Lake, and is very close to Silver Dollar City. The park attendants were very friendly and helpful. Our spot was spacious and easily accessible, but it was an exception, as many sites were shorter, and would not have been able to accommodate even a midsized unit.

We stayed for 9 days and the entire park lost water pressure for about 14 hours on one of the days. The dump station is located on a bit of a grade and therefore made it impossible to get our black tanks fully emptied, which was quite a hassle as there are no free dump stations near our home base. We had to drive 20 miles and pay $10 to dump when we got home and realized the black tanks were still 1/3 full.

I would give this park 8 to 9 stars if the sites were a bit larger (sized for today's larger RV's), and the dump station was laid out a little better. A really nice park, but could use a few minimal improvements to be even better. We camped at Indian Point COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Hy-Land Court RV Park, Ellison Bay, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

I am not sure how cool it is to give out a "10" on my first park review on this site, but Hy-land Court was one of the cleanest, nicest parks we have ever stayed in. The landscaping was just beautiful, and the entire park was immaculate. Cable TV hookup was available and pretty easy to hook up. The cable is definitely needed if you want to watch any TV, as very limited (if any) off - air channels are available, and with all of the wonderful shade trees, your satellite dish will probably not work either.

Great place to relax, unwind, and see all of the sights in Door County. One interesting thing to note about this park is that it is located very near one of the many cherry orchards located in the area. We noticed what sounded like shotguns going off in the distance once in a while. We found out that the loud noises are used to scare away birds and other animals that might be eating the cherries. We camped at Hy-Land Court RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If it is your first time in the area, be sure to check out a "fish boil" while you are here. The fresh whitefish is great.
