Gallagher Lake Resort (formerly Gallagher Lake KOA), Oliver, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Some of the nice things about Gallagher is the location. They have a small clean with clean sandy lake ideal for kids. Very close to most Winery's which we liked and lots of biking close by. The lots are close together but compared to other campgrounds in the area they are roomy. Seems like every year we go there they have different people there running it and it seems hard to get your existing site for the next year. We camped at Gallagher Lake Resort (formerly Gallagher Lake KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Roads RV Park, Grande Prairie, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice friendly people but very unorganized and not much help when asking for help. We were charged for a 30 amp service in an overflow field that was stuffed with vehicles and only a 15 amp service, which then turned into a mud bog after raining. Not a place you could call home. So we left and went to another. We camped at Country Roads RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Saskatoon Island Provincial Park, Grande Prairie, Alberta

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

For a Provincial it seemed that the sites were very dirty with garbage. It seems that the Government has forgot about this little gem not investing any money into this well used campground. Sections A and C have power but only C is reservable and some sites in B but no services there. Bathrooms are dated and so are the kids' parks. We camped at Saskatoon Island Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.
