Tips for other Campers:

Valle Del Oro (VDO) has a special every year for the last 4 months of the year at a cost of around one normal month.

There are several malls with movie theaters near by. You can never get bored here. We will be staying until April 2016.

Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina, Long Key, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Our space along the water was a little tight, but still able to accommodate a slide-out on either side.

Lots are gravel with concrete patio and picnic table and 30/50 amp service. My wife saw a manatee down near the marina. Resort has a marina store and a Tiki bar/ Lobster Crawl restaurant.

Tip - If you go to the Lobster Crawl restaurant ask if Mangrove Mike is the chef before ordering. Reason is I went and had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich that was excellent and my wife and I went back and she ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich only to receive a BBQ chicken sandwich which was very dry and hard. Any chef that can't tell the difference from chicken and port shouldn't be a chef. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Drive down to Key West for sight seeing and shops. Go to Robbies and feed the 150lb Tarpin from the dock. Several quaint little beaches (we enjoyed Coco Plum Beach).

Martin Lake Resort, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 7 nights all during record breaking rainfall and darn if our parked area was the low spot. This parks seems to have several permanent residences. All spots are concrete pads long enough for motorhome and vehicle with a side pad with picnic table. They have FHUs, 30 & 50 amp connections. They maintain their pool and spa. They also have a fairly good size pond (Martin Lake). I was very impressed with the speed of their wifi!! It was just to bad we were in a huge puddle most of the time. We camped at Martin Lake Resort in a Motorhome.
