Goulding's Lodge & Campground, Oljato-Monument Valley, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Only stayed one night enroute east, but we really enjoyed the campground. Our pull-through was long enough to stay hooked up and was quite level. It's out of the way, but has lots of amenities. The pull-through are very close together, but we had no problem getting in and out. We camped at Goulding's Lodge & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Green River State Park, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Green oasis in the middle of desert landscape. We stayed here 5 days while sightseeing around northern Utah. Very helpful, friendly staff. No sewer hookup, but convenient dump station. Several washrooms around the park with very clean bathrooms and showers. Next to a town golf course. Train running through nearby, even at night, but sort of liked the sound. We camped at Green River State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Glacier Basin Campground (NPS Campground), Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Great setting in the park. Sites were small, ours was a pull-through with just enough space for our 21 foot trailer and truck. Clean and level. No services, but we're able to use our generator several hours per day. Views 180 degrees. Mostly tent campers and small rigs. We camped at Glacier Basin Campground (NPS Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Country View Campground, Ogallala, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Not much of a "country view" being very close to town. But site was good, electric and water excellent. Hosts helpful. Laundry room clean and reasonable. Small pool, not really heated. Stayed one night. We camped at Country View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camp A Way, Lincoln, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. Friendly staff. Service and wifi good. It was very hot when we were there, and the showers, while clean, were like a sauna. Came out as sweaty as we went in. The community room was also extremely hot. We camped at Camp A Way in a Travel Trailer.

Amana Colonies RV Park, Amana, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Good place to stay to visit Amana. Large open field, no shade, but good level sites, decent free wifi. Host helpful and pleasant. But had this big empty feel. No pool, playground ancient, no activities, at least when we were there. Would stay again as an overnight. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Spaulding Lake Campground, Niles, Michigan

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet family owned campground. It was crowded on Memorial Day weekend, but they found us a spot for one night. Some small ponds for fishing and a small swimming hole. Very friendly and helpful owners. Good service, good wifi. Would stay here again. We camped at Spaulding Lake Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort, Geneva, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

Huge place. Parking lot style. But good spacing between units. We were here on Memorial Day Friday and it was packed, noisy, and expensive: $79 with Good Sam discount. Nice pool and great place for kids. Camped in a travel trailer. Would not return. We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Prince Rupert RV Campground, Prince Rupert, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We got off the ferry at 2:15 in the morning and were happy to find this campground open this late in the season. We were given a discount since we only were here half the night the first night. We choose our own spot, level and grassy with full hook-up. Excellent Wi-Fi. It's not the prettiest spot, but served our needs well. The laundry was out of service (or closed for the season). We stayed two nights and would return. We camped at Prince Rupert RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tolsona Wilderness Campground , Glennallen, Alaska

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was one of our favorites in Alaska. Super friendly staff, treats for the dog. Beautiful spot along a quick flowing stream. Private, level, and quiet (except for the stream). Lots of places to walk the dog. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. We camped at Tolsona Wilderness Campground in a Travel Trailer.

River's Edge Resort, Fairbanks, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed staying here. Had a nice level pull-through right next to the river. Quiet and spacious. Wi-Fi was iffy, best if we went to the laundromat, which was clean and comfortable. Great restaurant 5 minute walk. We stayed two nights and would return. We camped at River's Edge Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Northern Rockies Lodge , Muncho Lake, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

We were very disappointed with this campground. On first arrival, we found the setting magnificent, and we choose a site right on the water' s edge, with stunning views of the lake. However we soon discovered the staff was far more interested in accommodating the guests staying in the lodge than those in the campground. We ate dinner in the lodge one night and while the food was good, albeit expensive, the service was very poor. The "free Wifi" lasted all of 15 minutes, and even after buying more time, it still wouldn't let me log on most of the time. The staff at the desk offered no help at all. The laundry room consisted of one washer and one dryer in the basement for the entire complex. The store was essentially useless, not even selling milk. Considering the price we paid, we were hoping for a far more pleasant experience. We would not stay here again. We camped at Northern Rockies Lodge in a Travel Trailer.

Sherk's RV Park, Valleyview, Alberta

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Very clean, level sites. Helpful staff. The laundry room is immaculate. It's quiet, but not far off the main road. The only problem (not their fault) was that the road from route 43 was closed due to construction and we had to make our way around the back side. Internet was the best we had in a long time. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sherk's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Comfortable, level site. Concrete pad and picnic table. Lots of places to walk the dog. Friendly staff, well-maintained laundry. Not a lot of curb appeal, but good for a night or two. We camped at Helena North KOA (formerly Lincoln Road RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Fishing Bridge Campground (Concessionaire Operated), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

This is the place to be for full hookups and close to most attractions. But the campground doesn't have much to offer. Sites are very tight, no picnic tables, and not very attractive. Roads into the loops are poorly maintained. For the price, I think they could do better. We stayed here 3 nights. We camped at Fishing Bridge Campground (Concessionaire Operated) in a Travel Trailer.
