Florida Grande Motor Coach Resort, Webster, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

What a beautiful place. Big rig friendly with much room to maneuver. Spacious paved lots, huge clubhouse with separate library, wifi/media room, poker room, large pool and spa, horseshoes and shuffleboard areas as well. Very clean park and owners are welcoming. Not sure why others have stated they were not welcomed as renters. We went to pot luck last night and people actually moved over to make room for us at their table, would not let us sit alone. People next to us invited us over the 2nd day we were here. Have met many of the owners and they were just as nice as can be. You can feel the love for Florida Grande from the owners and listening to their stories of neighbors helping neighbors. There is a closeness here that is amazing. RVer's in general are very welcoming people but here it is even more than that. They are just a big family. Yes, there have been past issues but the new owners are trying to make things right. I wish them nothing but the best. If you want to have peace and quiet while camping, maybe you need to be here. We camped at Florida Grande Motor Coach Resort in a Motorhome.

Rivers Edge Mountain RV Resort, Murphy, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Owner/manager is very accommodating. Very nice park, well maintained. Great for big rigs with large pull-throughs and plenty of room to spread out between you and your neighbor. Nice back-ins next to the river as well. We spent some time here last summer and decided to return for a month this year. If you just want to relax and enjoy camping, plan a visit to this campground. You won't be sorry. We camped at Rivers Edge Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lancaster / New Holland KOA , New Holland, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very clean and owners are friendly and helpful. We were shown to our site upon arrival. The view from this campground is incredible. If you came here to see beautiful countryside and Amish buggies passing you by, you don't have to move from here. The setting is very peaceful. Enough room between campsites to sit around and chat with neighbors while keeping the fire pit burning. Sites are easy to get into and out of and fairly level. The roads in the campground are tarred but the site is gravel. Wi-Fi was down while we were here so am unable to comment on that. Would I return again, you betcha! We camped at Lancaster / New Holland KOA in a Motorhome.

Boston Minuteman Campground, Littleton, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Owners and employees keep the park groomed and clean. Very friendly staff and willing to help. We were led to our site upon arrival and asked if we needed any help. Several times during our stay I was asked if I was enjoying my stay. Lovely pool, nice playground and other areas for children (and adults) to play. Dog park was available as well. Only two negatives I can think of. Wifi on our site was not very good unless you used it very early in the a.m. or very late at night. Being that these campgrounds are cut into the woods the mosquitoes were a challenge. Bring your Deet and use it and you should be ok. We stayed in a Motorhome and would come again. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.
