Crazy Horse Campground, Brodhead, Wisconsin
Date of Stay:
July, 2016 -
$56.00
Overall Rating:
Very nice campground. Staff seemed to be very friendly and helpful. Did not care for the "per person, per day" charge- along with the camping fee -- makes it expensive-- especially if you don't even use the amenities. Grandkids had a ball, and the kayaking was fun. Biggest complaint we have is that the roads are VERY dusty. We had to keep our windows closed on the camper, as there was so much dust flying when cars, RV's, or golf carts went by. Also, the pool is really too small for that size of campground, however, I guess they use the river access for water sports. Everything said, we will probably stay there again-- sure loved the big space we had for our camper. We camped at Crazy Horse Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
We loved eating a a little restaurant in Brodhead, I think the name is Country Garden. Excellent home made food, very friendly staff. We also stopped at the Decator Cheese farm and bought fresh cheese.
