San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA, Petaluma, California

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and the bathrooms were clean and looked like they had very recently been updated with granite and nice lighting. Our dog enjoyed the dog park. My husband enjoyed relaxing at Lagunitas beer sanctuary while I went shopping at the Outlet Mall. As a history buff I enjoyed walking through the historic downtown. This is a large RV park and it was nice doing my morning walk around the grounds. The baby goats were adorable. The pool was heated and very large, with two shallow ends it was nice to lounge in. The weekends are very busy but we also stayed Sunday and Monday, which were more our pace. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean and enjoyable park. The staff were friendly. A nice place to stay for people who like to have amenities and nice surroundings. It can be a little difficult to get into your site but once you are parked you will have a great vacation. Book early to get a waterfront site. The beach is literally in front of your site. We camped at Newport Dunes Waterfront RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wine Country RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This is beautifully maintained RV park located half way between Hwy 101 and Interstate 5. The sites are very clean. The wine country name actually fits the theme of the park, and wineries are just down the road. It can be very hot here. A creek runs behind some of the sites that adds to the atmosphere. There were several small manicured areas for relaxing. The staff were friendly. There is water park across the street if you are traveling with kids, and there is a nice pool area on site. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
