Mountain River Family Campground (formerly Secluded Valley RV CG), Newland, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our site had a great view of the lake and lots of space. It was pretty level gravel but we did need one board to level. The concrete patio was longer than our awning and the picnic table was on a bricked area. We had a fire ring in back. The whole park is very neat and clean. Many seasonal campers but their sites were well kept. The owners were very friendly and offered assistance any way they could.

Would have rated a 10 except the Wifi did not work very well.

The rate included tax. We will camp here again. We camped at Mountain River Family Campground (formerly Secluded Valley RV CG) in a Fifth Wheel.

Ivy's Cove RV Retreat, Russellville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Convenient access to I-40. Just what we needed for a comfortable overnight stop. Level, roomy, gravel sites. Glad we called ahead as owner/manager had to be off site some that day. Worked out fine as he gave us site number and then registered us when he returned. We would stay here again. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great park located an easy 10 minute drive from old town section of Santa Fe. We had a back in site closer to the office that had plenty of room for slides and awning but not a lot of shade there. Glad the sites had amble gravel as it poured rain while we were there. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. We would stay there again. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
