Wild West RV Park, Van Horn, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great little park for an overnight stay. The people in the office were friendly and helpful. It's basically a gravel park with some nice trees. It is clean and well-maintained. There are no Junkie rigs in the park and it is basically weed-free. Other reviewers have complained about the train and Highway noise, but I doubt there's anywhere in Van Horn you could stay that you would not hear the trains. The tracks run right through town. It felt safe and we would definitely stay here again. It's a good value even at full price but a great value using Passport America. We camped at Wild West RV Park in a Motorhome.

A Country RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park is conveniently located off Hwy 58 but is very quiet. We didn't hear freeway noise and only 1 train early in the morning off in the distance.
The pull through sites are long and wide enough to easily handle a 40 foot motorhome with a jeep toad.
The office was pleasant and efficient.
The park is very clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

ICamp Green River, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is going to be a great park. The new owners (since May 2015) have put so much work into cleaning, repairing and up-grading the old KOA Park. There is new gravel on the roads, the weeds are all cut down and the trees are pruned. The buildings are in pretty good repair and the office is clean and welcoming. You can tell they have pride in doing a good job.

The staff is friendly and accommodating.

The train tracks are close but the traffic seed light. There is no highway noise.

We are looking forward to coming here again. We camped at ICamp Green River in a Motorhome.

Trail Break RV Park, Glenns Ferry, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

What a gem. This little park is clean, easy to get into even for a 40' motorhome towing, and friendly. The new owner was very helpful. Any review prior to November 2014 should be ignored as that is when the current owner took over. The buildings are all freshly painted and the grounds are clean and welcoming. It is quiet except for the occasional train in the distance. The freeway noise is practically nonexistent. We will definitely stay here again and will highly recommend Trail Break to friends. Be sure to say Hi to Romeo and give him a pat on the head. We camped at Trail Break RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bodega Bay RV Park, Bodega Bay, California

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This park has improved a lot in the past year. It is super clean, well maintained and has added some nice features recently. We were here with a club and had the use of one of the club houses which was also clean and well maintained.

The only criticism is that they did not park the group close together when we has reservations quite a long time in advance.

The location is convenient to area attraction. You can even hear the surf later in the evening when it gets quiet along with the far off fog horn. It is very soothing. We will definitely come back. We camped at Bodega Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hart Ranch Camping Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful well maintained and landscaped resort. The activities available are carried and abundant. It is quite with superb security. We felt very safe and secure in leaving our rig to shop and explore. The office staff went our of their was to welcome us and provide suggestions for the activities off the resort that we were interested in perusing. The rate reflects our RPI membership rate. It is definitely worth a much higher rate if you do not have a special membership rate. We are looking forward to returning next time we are in Rapid City. We camped at Hart Ranch Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean and well maintained park beautiful vistas. Sites are fairly level and big enough for our 40 ft RV and tow. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We even got a yummy huckleberry ice cream bar with our registration. This price reflects an Escapee discount. Our only complaint would be the last approximately 1/3 miles of dirt road entering the park. It rained during the night and some of the interior roads were muddy and sights were muddy. There is quite a but of far off train noise but that seems to be indicative of RV parks. It did not keep us awake. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.
