A+ Motel & RV Park, Sulphur, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest RV parks I have visited. All sites have concrete pads with concrete roads in park. Between the concrete there is very nice thick grass at each site. There is a fishing pond in the center of the park. There are 2 pools and a spa(one adult only pool). The staff were very nice and available 24/7. We camped at A+ Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

River View RV Park & Resort, Vidalia, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park on the shore of the Mississippi River across from Natchez. The spaces are adequately spaced. There don't appear to be any long term renters. I would love to go back to this park. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

I really enjoyed walking the dog along the paved trail on top of the levee next to the river. I was interesting to watch the Mississippi River barges. We did the Carriage Tour in Natchez($20 per person).

Singletree RV Park, Gainesville, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I am wondering if the other review of Singletree is about a different park. This park does not look new. It is almost exclusively long term clients. I did not find any dog park. The sites are gravel and very close together. My slide was about 5 feet from my neighbor's. I have a big rig. I was able to get into my site without unhooking my toad, but I had to disconnect to make the turn at the exit. There is no office. I was directed to a host in one of the sites. He only took cash and had no change so he had to take quarters out of the washing machine. The water to my site was off. The host opened something up so I got water but the valve leaked water all night creating a little lake next to my coach. We camped at Singletree RV Park in a Motorhome.

Coral Sands RV Park, Bluff, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We really like this park. The owners are friendly. Most spaces are separated by a line of bushes. We had a 50 amp site. The Wifi was great one day and marginal the next. Sort of like most RV Parks. There are tons of things to explore in Bear's Ears National Monument. The only downside was poor Verizon coverage, no fault of Coral Sands. We also stayed in Blanding, UT, 30 miles up the road. Blanding is a dry town and has few sit down restaurants, but great cell coverage. Bluff has several decent restaurants with alcohol and little cell coverage. We camped at Coral Sands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

If you have a big rig, I would avoid this park. Our site, 80, was sufficiently sloped that I could not level my 42' motorhome. It looks like there are many sloped sites here. The roads are narrow with curves that leave no room for error when navigating. There is a place on the KOA reservation page for special requests. We requested a satellite friendly site but did not get one. I have had this problem at other KOA's and I am convinced that many KOA's don't bother to read the special request box. I would suggest calling the KOA instead if booking online if you have any special requests. There is adequate spacing between spaces. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Motorhome.

Silver Cove Resort, Silverlake, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park is located adjacent to the east end of Silver Lake. There are canals within the park that communicate with the lake. I had a nice paddle in my kayak. If you don't have a boat, there are some for rent. The RV sites are spacious. Most are wide enough to park your tow vehicle next to your RV. There is a long term section, but it is separated from the remainder of the park. One think I noticed was the easy availability of trash containers. Many parks have only one or two. We camped at Silver Cove Resort in a Motorhome.

Rocky Mountain RV Park, Gardiner, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We really like this park. We were here at the very end of the season. By the time we left, there were almost no rigs left. The staff was very friendly, particularly the young lady who signed us in(8 months pregnant). There are trees around so all sites are not satellite friendly. The staff was very helpful in getting us a site with a treeless view to the south. Verizon worked fine here. The sites are average width. Each has a grass area with a picnic table. The grass is healthy and attracts the local elk. At times we had as many as 8 elk in the park. There are a few head-in sites with views of the city and park entrance. We camped at Rocky Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sportsman Lodging and RV Park, Melrose, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Small park off I15 in southern Montana. Far enough from I15 that road noise is barely perceptible. Spacious grass sites. Staff friendly. I count about 10 sites. We had a 50amp site(space 3). I think most of the rest are 30 amp. WiFi works better than most parks I've been too. Verizon is there but weak. It is wide open so there is no problem with satellite. The Hitchin' Post restaurant is right next to RV sites. Good food. Great service the night we were there. My wife had the filet and it was great. I would stay here again. We camped at Sportsman Lodging and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Highlands RV Park, Bishop, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $83.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and well run park. I experienced a couple of problems that people might want to be aware of. I have a 42' motorhome and maneuvering around some of the corners in the park was tight. If you have a big motorhome, make sure you disconnect your toad before finding your spot. For some reason, the Verizon service was poor. It might be a dead spot as there was excellent service elsewhere in Bishop. We camped at Highlands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Border Inn RV Park, Baker, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Agree with prior reviews. Great for quick overnight stay and is close to Great Basin National Park. If you are looking for a swimming pool and exercise room, look elsewhere! We had a good meal at the restaurant, possibly the best thing we found about this place. Verizon has 3G only so it was very slow. Verizon phone service OK. We camped at Border Inn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort, Lajitas, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were flat and spacious. There is little to no tree cover. It is part of an upscale golf resort. You have all the privileges of other resort guests including a nice discount for the beautiful golf course. It is definitely out of the way. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rose Valley RV Ranch, Silver City, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 5 days in a pull through site. The sites are VERY spacious with a wood fence and/or line of bushes separating sites. It is located almost in town, but you would not know it as the feeling is quite rural. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good place to overnight. Aside from Meteor Crater and a gas station, there is little for miles. The park has gravel roads and sites with the sites of average width There is a large dog area. My problem was with the staff. There was a tree in the way of my satellite. They refused to let us move despite many open sites. I turned the coach around in the site to avoid the tree and the security man said they didn't want the coach in backwards. Since I was only staying one night, I was finally allowed to stay in backwards. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Morro Strand RV Park, Morro Bay, California

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

I really like this park. There are simple backin sites on gravel. There is adequate space. If you need more space there are luxury sites that seem twice as wide as a normal site. If you like to walk or bike, you are within easy reach of the beach, Morro Rock and the Embarcadero. We like to kayak the bay. There are several launch sites a short drive away. The park is quiet . We camped at Morro Strand RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rancho Sedona RV Park, Sedona, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

We try to come here every year. This is a quiet park located right next to Oak Creek in a grove of Sycamores and Cottonwoods. It is clean and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Many of the staff have been here since we started coming about 7 0r 8 years ago. It is about a 1/4 mile to Tlaquepaque, an artsy center with galleries, shops and several good restaurants. It is about a 1 mile walk/drive to Uptown Sedona, the tourist center. Only a few sites are satellite friendly although there is cable TV provided. The only downside is that the park is very popular. Unless you happen to be lucky, you should get your reservations early. We make ours a year ahead of time. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.
