Columbia Falls RV Park, Columbia Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at Columbia falls RV Park for more than 5 summers. Reading some of the reviews have me convinced that some reviewers have Cfalls park mixed up with another park stayed at during their travels. Yes, there are rules, if you don't like rules don't stay there. The rules are why we kept coming back every summer and why this park is so nice and comfortable to stay at. Yes, there is a train track, but it is over a mile away, we never had problem with the noise. They have a great dog run/pen at the head of the park; we have a larger dog, 62# and walk her inside and outside of park. The owner's just up- graded their Wi-Fi system and it fast and speedy, among the best we have had traveling. You can use charcoal grills, they even have some in the tents sites. The gift shop/ store is well stocked, good line of RV supplies. So don't be misled by some of the lower reviews. This is one of best park in the area. If you are traveling to Glacier Park you are only 15 miles to the west entrance. We stay here in a 42' motor home with a towed car and never had problems get in or out of our site. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You have to visit Glacier Park, check before driving up to Montana to make sure the Going To Sun Road is open. It usually open the 3rd to 4th week in June. Too many are disappointed when they get there in early June and they can't take one of the most beautiful drives you will ever see.
