Pueblo West Campground and Arena, Pueblo West, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I need to say this: We did not stay here for this reason. We called three days in a row. The young lady that answered could not tell us if they had a site available, when they would have a site, or if they would ever have a site. All she could do was state "We will call you if a site opens up"! We finally drove to the park only to discover that this is not a RV park! It is a long term haven for RVs that are in very poor condition. We camped at Pueblo West Campground and Arena in a Motorhome.

Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA, Pueblo, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park defies all KOAs I have been to. It is great! The site was level, the power, water, and sewer were excellent. What a beautiful view! The owners and staff were very nice and helpful. We usually avoid KOA but this one is different. They do not have that KOA attitude, very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Did I mention the view? Wow! We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Lake Pueblo State Park, Pueblo, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

I was very disappointed in the pricing of this park. Let me begin by stating the site was OK, we barely fit but it was OK. We are a 50 amp rig, we had the 30 amp adapter and it worked OK, the 15 amp circuit did not work at all. The host told us it would take a week to get it repaired. The site was not level and it is somewhat a dog leg to the left. My issue is this is a State Park, we paid $20.00 for the site and then had to pay an additional $7.00 per vehicle. Therefore we paid for the bus and the Harley that was towed in a trailer. so in fact we paid $34.00 per night for very limited services! The showers are pay showers. We would have stayed much longer but decided to go to a RV park with all of the amenities, plus 50 amp service for much cheaper. By far the most expensive bare bones State Park I have ever been to. We camped at Lake Pueblo State Park in a Motorhome.

Valley Sunset RV Ranch, Delta, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed here for nine days in site P-5. This park is great! The owners and staff are very nice and helpful. The grounds are well manicured, the showers/bath rooms were excellent. Water pressure in the showers is great and you never run out of hot water. The Wi-Fi signal is excellent, very good at site TV. Propane is available at an excellent price. You are within in walking distance to Safeway, Wal-Mart, Taco Bell, Sonic and several other businesses. There is an active train track but it never once bothered me or anyone I spoke with. This is by far the best park in the area. We camped at Valley Sunset RV Ranch in a Motorhome.
