Lake Louisa State Park, Clermont, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for ten days. This was a nice campground. We would stay here again. Closed to the Disney parks. (30-40 minutes with traffic) Well worth the drive for the inexpensive cost of the park as compared to parks closer to Disney. We camped at Lake Louisa State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Ortona South COE, Moore Haven, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This was a quiet, clean park right on the Caloosahatchee River. The camp hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Well placed concrete pads so you weren't lookin right into the trailer next to you. It is a locked gate after dark. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Ortona South COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Indian Lake Park, Farmington, Iowa

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The lake is very nice and has a great trail all the way around the lake. This is our second stay here for a weekend. The sites are close together in the full hookup section. We reserved a specific site months in advance. When we arrived we found out it had been given to someone else because they were staying long term and the park wanted the money. Not happy about that because we had chosen the site due to trees and the height of our trailer. Overall, the park is nice though. Very tight parking of vehicles also. We camped at Indian Lake Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fall Lake Campground USFS, Ely, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for two weeks. Beautiful campsites. Quiet campground. The only downfall would be that there isn't a dump station. You have to go into Ely to dump at the visitors center. Would definitely stay here again. The campground is on Fall Lake. Some of the tent sites are right by the lake. We camped at Fall Lake Campground USFS in a Fifth Wheel.

Spafford Park, Cloquet, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The park hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We just stayed one night en route. It is on the St. Louis River. Nice setting. The campground was full so they put us in overflow. They charged us less because of that. There was some industrial nearby which created some noise but nothing bad. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Spafford Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Pine Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground off the main road so you didn't have road noise. It is set back in the trees which was nice but able to get into sites without any tree problems. The owners were very friendly. Even escorted you to your site and made sure you didn't have any problems getting in. We camped at Big Pine Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Pass Campground (Concessionaire Operated), Badlands National Park, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Couldn't ask for a better view of the Badlands. The park host was very friendly and helpful. The parking is kind of weird with just pull in areas instead of actual sites. It's like you are camping on the road. We camped at Cedar Pass Campground (Concessionaire Operated) in a Fifth Wheel.

Nine Eagles State Park, Davis City, Iowa

Overall Rating:

We stay here several times a year. They have brand new bathroom facilities. Lake is beautiful and great fishing. We love this campground. The park ranger monitors campground well and always makes sure rules are being followed in regard to respecting your fellow campers. The sites aren't all the most level or sized great but are very sufficient. We camped at Nine Eagles State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stopped here en route from Colorado to Missouri for one night only. What a gem! I hate to let too many people know so it won't be full when we need to stay again. Pretty setting with the lake. Very quiet. Very inexpensive. Would highly recommend! We camped at Ellis Lakeside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Estes Park Campground at Marys Lake, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay here. The view from our 5th wheel was great with mountains all around. We would stay here again. It was centrally located between Estes Park and RMNP. The only thing is on the weekend when it was full the sites are very close and crowded. We have a big trailer and it was difficult to get into our space. We were told though that the campground is being redone this year. Hopefully they will make more pull-through spots and not have trailers so close to one another. We camped at Estes Park Campground at Marys Lake in a Fifth Wheel.
