Elkhart Co. / Middlebury KOA, Middlebury, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice place to spend an overnight. Staff was friendly. Sites are not level and are gravel. No big problems for us but nothing outstanding. If we have to go by and need a place to spend a night, we probably use this place with no big expectations. Seemed a little bit high rate for what it offers. We camped at Elkhart Co. / Middlebury KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Indian Springs Resort Campground, Garrett, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this camp expecting more than what we got. The Wi-Fi does not work unless you are close to the main office. Staff is friendly. The place is good for small travel trailer and fifth wheel. We had difficulties with ours. The bathrooms have a long way to go; because of this we did not use them. We stayed for a week and during weekdays was quiet but the weekend nights were loud. Lots of tree but many with low clearance for big fifth wheel like ours. It has what appears to be a man-made lake which is used by families with kids a lot specially during the weekends. Several stationary travel trailers that are very old. Won't stay again here. We camped at Indian Springs Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Baton Rouge KOA, Denham Springs, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Staff is friendly but otherwise, this place needs a lot of work. Sites are all gravel and not level. Also, they are too close to comfort. Will not stay again, unless there is nothing else available. Next to a school that provides a significant amount of noise. We camped at Baton Rouge KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Williston Crossings RV Resort, Williston, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very large place. Sites are concrete and for the most part level. There are a lot of trees that provide ample shade but also lots of stuff coming down from them. We were surprised by the amount of pollen that came down every night. If you have allergies, like me, better get ready. It is in a small town with very few stores, so get your stuff before check in or like us you will drive over 30 minutes to common stores. Lots of retirees. Quiet and friendly place. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Navarre Beach Campground, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for the first time this year. Staff is friendly and you can see the beach from the southern end. The sites are gravel and close to one another. Maneuvering around is a challenge. It is close to many stores and attractions. We were originally assigned a place where our TT would not fit, and had to be moved to a different site. Sites are close also back to back. If you stay here, ask for a site on the outskirts, at least you won't have another TT or fifth wheel a few feet from the back of yours. This year it rained a lot, it hindered our experience. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cajun Palms RV Resort, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is nice place during the week but weekends are loud. A lot of people who live close by come to it. There is a lot of loud music. Sites are very close. Staff is very nice. I will recommend this one for weekdays but not for weekend unless you love loud parties. Many people bring golf carts with music equipment and drive around all day on Friday and Saturday. Too loud for retired people. Outstanding place for weekdays. We camped at Cajun Palms RV Resort in a Motorhome.
