Zion West RV Park, Leeds, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Nice shade trees, sites were clean and kept nice. A very small campground with not much to do. Our view was nice of the mountains and field next door. Very quiet. A great place if you need a home base if you are visiting Zion National Park. We camped at Zion West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA, Gretna, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice clean place with lots of trees. "Pride of ownership" with friendly and helpful staff. They offer for a fee to make and deliver pizza to your campsite. We only stayed one night, but this would have been a very pleasant place to say a few days. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Kingman KOA, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly, clean, safe, and a great miniature golf area for families. Sites were a little close together, but the bushes between the sites provided enough privacy. We camped at Kingman KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Destiny Dallas RV Resort, Denton, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

"Pride in ownership". Clean, safe, lots of trees and very friendly campground. There were a lot of "long stay" campers, but all of the sites were well maintained. A lot of people walking their well behaved dogs and very friendly to talk to. This campground even had a car/trailer wash that we were planning to use before we left, but ran out of time. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Amarillo RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The photos on their web site did not represent the true look of RV campground. There was a pond, but fishing? Campground was clean, safe and quiet. Improvements were being done while we were there. The gift shop Lizzie Mae's was out of this world! The shop was a destination in its self. We camped at Fort Amarillo RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wildwood Acre RV Park, Stillwater, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I am sorry to say we did not stay here. We made reservations, but when we pulled up I was afraid to stay. The place looked like someone's front yard where they parked trailers side by side and lived in them long term. The space they were going to put us, was so tight, I don't think our side had room to come out. Everything looked unkept. I begged my husband to turn around and leave. We camped at Wildwood Acre RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Grants / Cibola Sands KOA, Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $45.00

Shows "Pride of ownership". Clean, safe, friendly and a fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookie upon our arrival. Their flyer with the rules are clever and entertaining. For a fee, they will bring a home cooked meals to your camp site. Free continental breakfast in the morning. Their service is why they received a President's Award and a Founder's Award 2014. We camped at Grants / Cibola Sands KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Terry Bison Ranch Resort, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

The campsite was more like a grassy parking lot and we were able to hear freeway noise, but the ranch was one of most memorable places we stayed. The store was nice to shop in, the bathrooms were clean. We rode horses and were able to go on a train and feed live bisons. You could fish if you wanted or do as we did and walk all over the ranch and look at the wonderful collection of animals. We spent little time at our RV site. We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

St Paul East RV Park, Woodbury, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This camp site showed "pride of ownership". Very clean and well taken care of. They went out of their way to help us check in when we showed up 1 day early. This campground closes their gates at 6pm. Campers can come and go as they please, but they have to open and close the gate for themselves. Not the most convenient, however it does make you feel very safe in the campground at night. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Eagle Ridge RV Park, Eagleville, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

They do not except credit cards, so we payed in cash. This was a great quiet campground. You could tell the owners were very proud of their place. We are from California, and for me this campground reminded me of summers visiting relatives in MN. It was one of our favorite campgrounds. We camped at Eagle Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
