Mountain Road RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We pulled into this park with friends in a motorhome. They had to unhook because the site was too short for their tow vehicle. There was no one at the office when we got there, so we just chose our own site. I would have been willing to pay $20 or even $25, but when the owners got back & we went up to the office to pay, we were shocked at the price. If we would have been by ourselves, we would have hooked back up & gone to one of the other parks in town - where we had stayed before. Plus, once we were parked, we realized our site was surrounded with dog poop, pieces of fencing, & other kinds of debris which we had to clean up. I would not recommend this park to anyone & we will never stay here again. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Tucumcari is a cute little town which used to be on Route 66. There are several things from that time including a museum, a few neon lights & 2 diners. There are also many beautiful murals around town to see - you can get a map which tells where they are & a little bit about them from the Visitors Center. I would recommend visiting this little town.

Morrilton RV Park, Morrilton, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We spent one night here in our fifth wheel. Don't stop here if you plan to sleep during your stay. The interstate is so close, you are essentially right beside it! The sites were extremely unlevel. We looked at several because we didn't plan to unhook. We had to unhook because there were no sites level enough to stay hooked up. The park was dirty & poorly maintained. It was well lit, so we could take our Yorkie out at night. However the Interstate was less than a football field length away. All night long we could hear cars, trucks using their jake brakes - it was very noisy. We have been fulltime RVers for 10 years & this is in the bottom 10 of the RV Parks we've stayed in. We would never stay here again - a Walmart Parking lot would be preferable. We camped at Morrilton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wendy Oaks RV Park, Florence, Mississippi

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We were a little dubious when we pulled in the park because there were about a dozen Confederate Flags waving outside the gate, but it turned out they were a sort of memorial to a man who had lived at the park in a tent for several years & had recently passed away. The campers at the campground had become his family. It was a nice little campground with a small pond & a nice place to walk your dog. The owner was very friendly & we enjoyed talking to her. It was quiet & calm - a nice place to get away from it all if you need to. I would stay here again & highly recommend it. We camped at Wendy Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We just spent the night here, so we didn't check out the area. It was a beautiful park on a nice little pond - very pleasant.

Riverview RV Park, Lake Ozark, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here overnight in October & it was a beautiful campground. The hosts were really friendly & helpful. The campground was clean & well-maintained. There was a beautiful walk along the river bank & our little Yorkie loved exploring the campground. We even fed the ducks. We were in traveling mode, so didn't want to unhook & we got a beautiful pull through spot overlooking the river, which was long enough for us to stay hooked up. I highly recommend this campground. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nashville East / Lebanon KOA, Lebanon, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This was one of the worst campgrounds we have ever stayed at. We called ahead for a spot since we were arriving late. When we got there, they showed us where our spot was & then they informed us there was no water on the site. Out spot was muddy & almost impossible to back our 40' RV into. If it hadn't been dusk, we would have driven farther & found a better campground. I will never camp here again & do not recommend it to anyone! We camped at Nashville East / Lebanon KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Ozark View RV Park, Omaha, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park with lots of trees, shade, and beautiful views down into the valley. It was clean & very well kept up. It was quiet and peaceful. The sites were long enough for our 40' RV and truck. We didn't even need to unhook. We were in traveling mode, but spent two nights here because it was such a restful place. I highly recommend it. We camped at Ozark View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
