Winding River RV Resort, Grand Lake, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We really like this park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This park is a great location for visiting the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake and Granby CO. Our site was long, wide and basically level with a picnic table and fire ring but need gravel to eliminate the mud. The driveways are wide, fairly smooth and easy to navigate. The laundry room is clean and neat with well maintained machines. The restrooms were spotless. The WiFi was spotty. We camped at Winding River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Glendo Lakeside RV Park, Glendo, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Overall this park is not fancy but a nice place t0 stay if you do not need cable TV or WiFi. The driveways are smooth gravel and wide. The sites are fairly spacious and we had no problem getting level. The utilities work well and are located about half way. We camped at Glendo Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Billings KOA, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

This park seems well managed but seems a little pricey. Our site was good but was tight and did not have sewer. The other utilities work well. The WiFi was a little slow. The driveways are narrow, paved and surprisingly easy to navigate. There was a small tree on our site that looked like some kind of oak that attracted wasps/yellowjackets in large numbers. We camped at Billings KOA in a Motorhome.

Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort, Sisters, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This park is excellent in almost every way. We have stayed here at least once a year for several years and have reservation for July already. The grounds are spectacular, there are trees for shade, a pod to fish at, a trial to walk, a place to let your dog run and restrooms that several steps above the average. The utilities all seem to work well including the WiFi. The only issue we have had is reservation system must be a little difficult because we have had to have ours redone almost every year because of input errors. We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sun Lakes Park Resort, Coulee City, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This parks is family oriented with a swimming pool, paddle boats, rowboats, kayaks, mini golf and a swim beach. We stayed in an upper plateau site which is level, long and wide with full hookups. The staff was friendly. The building are looking somewhat shabby. The WiFi is weak as is the AT&T service but Verizon seems fairly good. We camped at Sun Lakes Park Resort in a Motorhome.

We stay here over the Memorial Day weekend and the park was packed. The driveways are easy to navigate gravel and well maintained. The sites are mostly level, gravel and grass with a picnic table and fire pit. Some sites are shaded some are sunny. The WiFi was weak when the park was full but worked well on Monday night when most people had departed. The utilities are well placed and worked well. We will stay here again. Klamath Falls KOA, Klamath Falls, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I am not sure what is different but the last time we were here we decided that dry camping at the casino would be better and this time the park is clean, neat and the staff is pleasant. We will use this park on our next trip through. Our site was tight but big enough for our 32 foot motorhome towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee and slides out. The driveways are smooth gravel if somewhat narrow. The cable TV is good and the WiFi is some of the best we have had. The utilities are well placed and work well. We camped at Klamath Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a neat, clean and well managed park. The driveways are wide smooth gravel. The sites have concrete pads, picnic tables and the tree will eventually provide shade. The utilities work well however the sewer connection is at the back so you may need a long hose. The WiFi is okay for email but not streaming. We would definitely stay here again. This is a clean and neat well managed park. The driveways are dirt and smooth enough to be pave. The site are level dirt with hedges that provide privacy and some shade but make them fairly narrow. That said we did not have any problem putting out our slides. The utilities worked well. The WiFi in site 116 was of limited use. We camped at Kingman KOA in a Motorhome.

Route 66 RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This a nice new RV park with easy to navigate driveways, generous sites with concrete pads, picnic table and utilities that all work well but lack shade. The restrooms and shower are very clean but the men's shower is the size of a toilet stall. There is no cable however the OTA has a large number of channels. The WiFi is better than most. The park is about 20 miles outside Albuquerque. We camped at Route 66 RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Whistle Stop RV Resort, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is well laid out with wide well maintained gravel driveways. The sites are level with clean gravel, patio, grass and a picnic table. The utilities are well situated and work well. The park is new enough that the shade trees are still very small and it looks like many did not survive and the grass is struggling to make it. The directions in the Good Sam Travel guide are confusing at best and our GPS has the location wrong. I suggest you call for directions. Look for the large sign the says "RV" with horse trails in small letters. We would stay here again. We camped at Whistle Stop RV Resort in a Motorhome.
