Canyonlands RV Resort & Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We had a very nice stay in this park. Even though you are close to your neighbor, they have a small wall to divide the sites, which does give a good feel for your own space. They have a small pool, but it was too cold out for us to use it. Not a lot in the way of amenities, but you are in walking distance to restaurants and bars, so that is very nice. And the tree cover was very nice. This is a great place to stay if you in Moab. We camped at Canyonlands RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Ouray KOA, Ouray, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park in the most beautiful part of Colorado. There were a lot of nice shade trees, which is not that common in high altitude Colorado. A simulated creek (irrigation canal) runs through the campground and right by many sites, which is a nice feature. They cook BBQ on-site and it's an excellent meal with a nice patio, beer garden, and live music on the weekends. Really one of the best campgrounds in Colorado. We camped at Ouray KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss the hot springs in Ouray! It's a very large, modern pool with separations for warm water and quite hot water and a large play area with pool play equipment for the kids.

Mount Rushmore KOA at Palmer Gulch, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We absolutely loved this resort campground! 2 pools, water slide, horses, paddle boats, free movies, kids parks, kids events, coffee shop, snack bar, and more. We stayed for a week and had the best time. Kids will always stay busy with things to do. The wifi really only worked near the coffee shop area; they could work on that. Mount Rushmore is just up the road a few miles. We came to the campground with high expectations, and they exceeded them with all the amenities. We camped at Mount Rushmore KOA at Palmer Gulch in a Travel Trailer.
