Gualala River Redwood Park, Gualala, California

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay here. We scouted the site two weeks before more for the route than the site and met the camp host who was extremely friendly and helpful. (As was employee we encountered) He remembered us when we arrived two weeks later. Of course we do own the same RV one year apart in the same color scheme. The interior roads were tight but I made it with our 35ft Class A and I'm just an average driver. They recommended that I unhook the Jeep which was great advice. The site was fine and neighbors not too close. There was a large loud group Saturday night but it didn't bother us at all. We saw the host multiple times during our stay including twice on a 10pm stroll. Make sure to bring a swimsuit to take advantage of the beach. We camped at Gualala River Redwood Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Access via Hwy 1 only. Absolutely do not take Skaggs Springs Rd. Gualala Market closes at 9pm. Surf Market has fresh local seafood - we bought Ling Cod caught in Point Arena. Make a day trip to Point Arena lighthouse!
