Orange Texas RV Resort, Orange, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Orange Texas RV Resort is undergoing some nice upgrades. The grass on our site [71] is full and well maintained. The grass along the roads is neatly trimmed. Many new 5-6ft trees are being planted throughout the park that will eventually provide needed shade from the hot Texas sun. The evidence says this is a well managed business right down to the laundry and shower facilities and is a welcome relief from other parks in this busy oil area. Very friendly staff !!. The ONLY knock on this park is the spot has large rocks instead of gravel to park on ?? We stayed for only a week in a 5th wheel RV. We camped at Orange Texas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Holiday COE, Benbrook, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We always spend a few days here when traveling through Dallas / Fort Worth. There is plenty to do being located so close to the city but we love the serenity of the lake. Most spots are large enough for big rigs with 30/50A service. We have always enjoyed the Camp Hosts here and the facilities are well kept. We camped at Holiday COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Bloomington East, Cedar Ridge Campground COE, Lawrence, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Cedar Ridge CG is part of the COE Bloomington East complex. Our site was C007 and was a wide/long pull through with 50A Electric and water. There are plenty of long back-in 50/30A sites as well. There are no sites right on the lake but some of the back-ins were within a couple of hundred feet. Our Sprint Service was really good in the park (was told Verizon was good also). Broadcast TV will get you about 25 channels. Some geocaches in the area. Good-sized lake with several boat ramps. $11 Rate is with the America the Beautiful Senior Pass. We camped at Bloomington East, Cedar Ridge Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Pla-Mor Campground, Inc., Bremen, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

,We stayed here before during and after Labor Day weekend.
Grounds were in Great condition.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. There were lots of planned activities for young and older.
Our section was Open field without trees in sites but the area was surrounded by trees and crop field. Another section where sites were a bit smaller had plenty of shade.
Lots of extra activities, including a driving range, Mini-golf, swimming pond, fishing pond, play set for the little ones. Great place to camp and we will be back. Paid for 6 nights and got the 7th free and used PPA discount also. We camped at Pla-Mor Campground, Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.

Knife Island Campground, Esko, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was gravel/grass but spacious. We had a back in site with W&E 50A.

Although there is no sewer connection at the sites, the park offers free of charge, a sewer truck to empty your tanks.

Campground is built along St Louis River with access to Knife Island.

Staff was very friendly and often asked if there were anything they could do for us.

Would stay here again. We camped at Knife Island Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Burlington Bay Campground, Two Harbors, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a week for an RV Haulin' HitchHikers rally.
We were in the new sites south of Park road.
We loved the terraced sites that are spacious with well maintained roads and grass.
sites are gravel pads that are level and raked with 50amp full hookups.
The view of Lake Superior is Awesome out our back window.
Hookups are provided on both sides so Motor homes can pull in and face the lake.
The sites north of Park road are 30A and vary with EWS and some with on EW.
Staff was very friendly when we checked in, otherwise we had no interaction with them. We camped at Burlington Bay Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Hidden Valley Outfitters, Overnight RV Park, Lebanon, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Right accross the highway from Bennett Springs State Park entrance.

Hummingbirds galore. Large level concrete pads, spacious sites, grassy, clean. Great value on float trips and river front access for swimming or fishing, laundry and playground. Hot spot at the office.

We stayed here 4 nights for a Pony Express HitchHiker Rally.

Staff were very friendly. Not much shade as the trees a still very young.

Also have a long term section that is extremely reasonable.

Definitely would come back. We camped at Hidden Valley Outfitters, Overnight RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Foscue Creek COE, Demopolis, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This is an ALL volunteer COE Park and it is one of the best we have ever stayed. Wonderful park within 3 miles of downtown Demopolis. It feels very cozy even though sites are very spacious and easy to get into. We stayed in site 56 and was backed up within 20 ft of the Tombigbee River. We loved watching the coal barges pass by. Our site was very level and asphalt pad. We had FHU's including sewer although some of the lower sites did not have sewer. Roads are not very wide and meeting another rig going the opposite direction would be very close. We appreciated that on curves with drop offs, the curves had yellow markings to make it easier to navigate. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Springhill Park Campground COE, Barling, Arkansas

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights in a 5th wheel. We have stayed here 3 times and love it. We stayed in section A which is on a feeder to the Arkansas River. At $9/nite with a Senior Pass, it was a great deal with electric & water only. It is a few miles south of I-40 and east of I-46. Sites and roads are paved and in very good condition. Nestled in the woods with a lot of room, it was very serene. The sites are back-in with picnic tables and a fire pit. We camped at Springhill Park Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Ocala North RV Resort, Reddick, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

There were only 2 openings available when we called about an hour before arriving. The lady that assisted me was very nice and genuinely happy to help. We arrived after 5pm and the office was closed for the day. Our site information was left at the office door with a map to our site. The park has many pull through sites and that is what we received. Although we needed to leave early and did not disconnect our tow vehicle, our site was paved, wide and very long. Although it was fall and there were leaves on the ground from the many Spanish Moss covered trees, the park was obviously clean. There are many long term residents in the park and quite a few had impressive Christmas displays which made the park feel very cozy. We camped at Ocala North RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
