Paris Landing State Park, Buchanan, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

I suggest you skip this park and find a private park. This park is adjacent to a major highway, very noisy! Short narrow gravel pads. If you don't take my advice and decide to stay here, bring extra water hose. The bathhouses are a disaster. It looks like they clean them with a leaf blower. We camped at Paris Landing State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Southlake RV Park, Knoxville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I didn't heed the reviews and took a chance. BAD decision!!! We were crammed into a spot between two trees with about a foot between each. This was a dirt spot, no gravel, no concrete or pavement of any kind. On top of that, it was on a very steep incline. So steep that I had to put the truck in 4X4 to get into it. Had it been raining or wet, we would not have made it. Did I mention crammed in?! Oh my...I have never seen such tight spaces. We could hear everything the couple next to us were saying, smell the food they were cooking inside!

I've said all you need to know to NOT go here. If you decide to take the chance, you only have yourself to blame...I tried to warn you. We camped at Southlake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Campers RV Park, Columbia, Tennessee

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

If it's raining or has rained recently, it's a mud hole. It's very cramped with a lot of permanent residences. We camped at Campers RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice personnel running the site. Request one of the shady sites. You'll have a little more room, better view and shade in the summer. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Travel Trailer.

A very large campground, plenty of spaces, but not all have sewer connections. A lot of permanent residence towards the back. We camped at Goose Pond Colony in a Travel Trailer.

Ditto Landing, Huntsville, Alabama

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Not a bad place to stay if you want to fish and boat. The main draw back, no sewer sites and it's under a canopy of trees. We camped at Ditto Landing in a Travel Trailer.
