Dalrymple Park and Campground, Bayfield, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a first come, first serve campground run by a very small city. The city contact person was very friendly and helpful. Each site has electricity but the box is often in a location that is hard to reach without an extension. No water at the sites but city water available in the campground. Restrooms are water-less outhouses that are reasonably clean for an outhouse. No dump station. The campground is heavily wooded on the shores of Lake Superior with a number of sites on a short bluff next to the lake. Access to many of the sites is limited as RVs over 30' will have difficult maneuvering around the campground much less into some sites. The trees prevent good views of the lake from most camp sites. We camped at Dalrymple Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
