Armitage Park , Eugene, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very pretty county park. They have an online reservation system, but you have to book three days in advance. If you call, they can get you in on the same day. All of the spots are great. Big, asphalt paved, full hookup, close to the bathrooms. Some spots have shade, some don't. No separate "patio", but the spots are big enough to have walking surface all around your coach. No problem parking a car in the spot. Some are pull-throughs. The bathrooms are more park-style with stone floors, but not bad and they were clean and well-stocked. We will definitely return. Lots of space to walk around, nature trails, and a 2-acre off-leash dog park. We camped at Armitage Park in a Motorhome.

Lordsburg KOA, Lordsburg, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very large, but this is just a large gravel and dirt lot. The KOA facilities are old and while the women's room was clean, the men's room was not. Dog areas are small with no bags. Unless you need power/water/sewer, you'd probably be better off boondocking. We camped at Lordsburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't stay here if it's raining. There is no asphalt or concrete (not even in the front driveway). It gets very muddy.

Los Angeles / Pomona / Fairplex KOA, Pomona, California

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for the Grand National Roadster Show. The Fairplex is adjacent to the park, so this was a huge plus for us. The grounds are beautiful. We had an end spot with lots of grass. Multiple dog run areas (not entirely fenced, just nice bark-strewn walkways lining the park). Staff presence was obvious throughout the park...everything was sparkling clean. The front office has great tips on where to go and what to do should you need to venture into town. Claremont is a short drive (or bike ride) away with lots of great shopping and restaurants. Target is about 2 miles away and an easy walk. We camped at Los Angeles / Pomona / Fairplex KOA in a Motorhome.

Picacho / Tucson NW KOA , Picacho, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Great dog area with an agility course! We stopped overnight. The staff was friendly and left our check-in info in the registration box. Bathrooms were clean. Sites were well-marked and easy to navigate (even in the dark). Adjacent to a farm which my dog enjoyed. Not much noise other than frequent trains in the distance. We camped at Picacho / Tucson NW KOA in a Motorhome.

Blueberry Hill RV Resort, Bushnell, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived late at night but were still able to make a reservation by phone with no issues. They assigned a spot number for our reservation right away. The park is very easy to navigate, spot numbers are clearly marked, and the spots are all pull-thru, paved, level, nicely maintained, and very large. The park is not fenced, but it is quiet with friendly residents. It's also across the street from a Walmart Supercenter. Perfect spot for an overnight stay. I only saw one bathroom/shower building with approx six stalls. The bathroom was large and well maintained, but they were full after 7 am. There may have been more bathroom buildings on the property, but we didn't have time to explore. I do wish I had more time to check out the heated pool; it was large enough to swim laps. Next time! Our dog did enjoy the fenced off-leash area (large enough for him to stretch his legs). We camped at Blueberry Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.
