Red Gate Campground & RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

All pads are white rock base, ours had power 50/30 Amp, sewer and water hookup, no cable. Average WiFi. We had a corner lot so it had a nice size yard, pet friendly. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Second time there. Upon arrival the site we reserved on line was smaller that we thought (corner site small yard); checked with office and they gave us a list of sites that were open and we were able to change sites but this was off season. Most camp sites are a short walk to the beach. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA, Fort Mill, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The park needed some work, but the lots were small more like a parking lot, close together, just enough room between units for picnic table. At check in you had to walk to a convenience store to check in. We camped at Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Tobesofkee Claystone Park, Macon, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

First time going to this park. Been at Arrowhead Campground several times. We just purchased a new 5th wheel and this was the shake down trip with it. This park is about 40 miles from home and a good get away area. We arrived after dark and check in just took a couple of minutes and the person was very nice. We found our site very easily. The pad was level and was a full hook up site with 30 and 50 amp. service. The lot was on a slight grade for about 40' then dropped down to the lake where there are benches to sit on. The campground only had about 5 other units there and was very quiet. The view was nice and we saw a Bald Eagle flying from tree to tree for about an hour. We use an electric fence for our dogs and they had a blast on the lot and when we took them for walks. There is also a disk golf course there and we will have to try it some time. There is a boat ramp here and you can pull your boat up to shore by the campground. We camped at Lake Tobesofkee Claystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.
