Nahkeeta Campsite, Martinsburg, West Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Not a good experience. Even this time of year they wanted reservations, which I had not made. No office, had to call and that was OK. Once in spot had to move, with an open field in front of me, moved across field. Owner's daughter came later and chewed us out for having moved across the ground - marked with flags but no explanation anywhere what flags were for. Kept expecting her to come back and light into me again. Water spigot in ground 1', leaky, filled up, challenge then to unhook (bugs floating in water). $40 ... no cable or wifi, fire ring or table, zero bathrooms nor enough gravel to set level. Significant, ongoing road noise -- all night. Lesson learned ...pay the extra and stay somewhere else. We camped at Nahkeeta Campsite in a Motorhome.

Sweetwater Events Complex - RV Park (formerly Sweetwater Fairgrounds), Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

By far this is the best choice in Rock Springs (granted, depending on time of year). Traffic noise is minimum, which is a nice change. Registering is easy, the caretaker is very accomodating and good to work with. Spaces are plentiful. There is a definite wind coming in from the north so park so it has minimum effect on your stay. Site doesn't have cable but OTA received 2 channels and all was good. My Verizon Wifi picked up 4G with np. I'm tickled with the site for the price. We camped at Sweetwater Events Complex - RV Park (formerly Sweetwater Fairgrounds) in a Motorhome.
