Big Oaks Family Campground, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

Definitely a sellers market. Tough price to pay to be this close to the beach.too crowded, spaces too small. Very noisy. Cash only in the office, no checks or credit cards.

There is a state park near Bethany that is much nicer, but has no shade and is too hot in the summer. This place is strictly a last resort type of place. We camped at Big Oaks Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Presque Isle Passage, Fairview, Pennsylvania

Overall Rating:

Convenient location, roomy sites, very helpful staff. They were especially helpful after my coach broke down. I would visit here again. Easy access to the State Park. We camped at Presque Isle Passage in a Motorhome.

Jones Station RV Park, Mebane, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park has only been open for about 1.5yrs. They are still growing and don't have a lot of amenities, yet. They plan on adding them in the near future. This is a convenient location and a scenic locale. The sites are spacious and the staff is very friendly. Would definitely come back. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Crabtree RV Park, Alma, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very cramped. With slides out, there was less than 2 feet between coaches. These people are more concerned with their dealership than the RV "park". Will not be back. We camped at Crabtree RV Park in a Motorhome.

Buffalo Bob's RV Park, Lawton, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access to Ft Sill and interstate. Clean and tidy, all concrete roads and pads. Plenty of room for slideouts. Wi-Fi and cable were great, staff seemed very friendly. Stayed an extra day just because I liked it here. No shade, so I might not be as happy in the summer. We camped at Buffalo Bob's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Padre Palms RV Park, Corpus Christi, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Will never stay here again. This park is not really big rig friendly. The sites are very narrow and with the slides out you are encroaching on your neighbors. Some of the units used by long term residents were showing their age, and the sites were not very tidy. There was absolutely nothing appealing about the tiny pool. If you try hard enough; you can see the fishing pier, but because of the fence; it is about a 4 block walk to get there.

The closest neighbors to the park are a small horse farm and the sewage treatment plant. I stayed in Feb., I can only imagine the stench in the warmer months. The people in the neighborhood are not a problem, but you will need a car to get anywhere.

I left early and parked on the beach in Port Aransas. We camped at Padre Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cajun RV Park, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I was not surprised that reality did not meet expectations based on the park website. The Gulf is right across the street, but the beach is a healthy walk across US90. It was easier and safer to drive the short distance to the ample parking lot. The park staff can't really control the outside noises, but prepare yourself for the trains. This is a very active train line w/several grade crossings in the area which means they must sound their horns. I got used to it eventually, but probably would not have stayed there if I had known. We camped at Cajun RV Park in a Motorhome.
