Lake Osprey RV Resort, Elberta, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful new park built around a large spring-fed lake. All sites are concrete and all interior roads newly paved. Landscaping is truly resort-like. We will definitely return even without a special rate. We camped at Lake Osprey RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

River Cities RV Park, Boyce, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Came here based on web site description and pictures which depicted a pretty environment and a new, clean park. Arrived to find park located in a field in an industrial area - not a single tree. There is absolutely nobody manning the premises at any time. Camp facilities are as advertised (ie. water, sewer, power, pads etc) but this is actually a work camp, inhabited almost 100% by workers. The environment was not at all welcoming for vacationers so decided to leave before even hooking up. Called for a refund (nobody on site) for the week we had paid and were bluntly refused even when we offered to pay a portion. Not impressed! We camped at River Cities RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
