Overall Rating:
Great activities, clean areas, nice pool. Only issue was the campsites were very close together. Seemed like a great family environment. We camped at Stateline Campresort & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.
Great activities offered!

Hide-A-Way Cove Family Campground, Danielson, Connecticut
Date of Stay:
October, 2014 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
This campground used to be a great family place, however in recent years it has seriously gone downhill, as you can see by its dated facilities and drastic decline in seasonal campers. The basketball court has not been refinished in a long time, the park is constantly swarming with hornets and bees, and the beach area is filthy. The events they hold are mediocre at best, with the adult events turning into a bunch of people getting drunk and obnoxious quickly. The events for kids are repetitive and poorly hosted and attended. The drug use in this campground has seriously increased and campers are regularly broken into and stolen from. Seasonal campers are unwelcoming to weekend visitors. We camped at Hide-A-Way Cove Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
