Indian Mound Campground, Starkville, Mississippi

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed during the Alabama/MSU game. I'm sure the rates were higher than normal. The family seemed to like this place, clean, decent wifi, but we were close to the office. All sites level, mostly shaded, and gravel. About 5-6 miles from town, so it's quiet and not too far out and not too far from the game. It's a 'no frills' place, but we'd stay here again. all in all, a good family trip to the game. We camped at Indian Mound Campground in a Motorhome.

Gulf State Park Campground, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is our FAVORITE RV park. Super clean, wonderful pool, lots of hiking trails, all paved, close to everything!! We LOVE this place. There's no Wi-Fi, but we take our own "hotspot". You can get your basic TV channels with a decent antenna. Easy to get into. There is little to no shade; Hurricane Katrina wiped out most of the tall trees. They've done a great job of replanting, but it's gonna take time for the trees to grow! We camped at Gulf State Park Campground in a Motorhome.
