I-75 Camper Village, Dry Ridge, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I had found prices of $20.00 to $25.00 while searching on line yet when I got there it was $35.00 and $31.50 if you pay cash. After pulling in late I just paid the $31.50. I didn't expect it to be quiet because it can't get any closer to I-75 but the price killed me. Don't even bother typing in the number code for the WiFi it's the worst WiFi I have ever had in and RV park.

Mud and pipes laying around close to our awning side from some old work that had been done. Part of the lawn was mowed but the dog run area wasn't. We camped at I-75 Camper Village in a Travel Trailer.

Fall Hollow Campground, Hohenwald, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Not real fancy but plenty of room and the area was all grass so there was no dirt or mud. Beautiful river on the property and plenty of room to walk the dogs. We had a few air TV stations and good cell/data signal. A little noise from the highway but very quiet at night. Owners are friendly and very helpful. We camped at Fall Hollow Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to the Meriwether Lewis Monument and right at the Natchez Trace Parkway. Close to Hohenwald Walmart and Tractor Supply propane refill. The Mexican restaurant in downtown Hohenwold is excellent and inexpensive. Beautiful area and very nice people.

Marathon Motel and RV Park, Marathon, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

They let us dry camp so we didn't use any hook ups. The area with the hook ups looked nice and had plenty of room. We parked back by the tent area and the little pond. It was quiet and far enough from the low traffic road. The owners are very nice people. The whole place is very well kept but the courtyard and fire pit areas are gorgeous. There is a covered area with a big outdoor fireplace and rough rustic seating and furniture. This place has pride of ownership. We camped at Marathon Motel and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

I don't think there is a lot to do in Marathon but I will be back to see the Marfa Lights.
