Lake Aire RV Park & Campground, Hollywood, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

I would give this campground an average, but for the price it was OK. We, unfortunately were here during rain and our site, as were many, were flooded and muddy. Our site had very little grass so it was very muddy. Be specific on what type of site you would like as some are mainly mud.

The sites are pretty close together and there was a fire ring but it was very small. We used the small laundry area and it was a bit dirty with some crawly bugs inside. They had 3 washers and 3 dryers and they all worked. They did have a small pool that looked well maintained but we did not use it.

We did fish in the pond but the turtles ate all the bait. The office workers were pleasant when we came in but we did not have a reason to encounter them after we arrived. It is a quiet campground with some tall trees but we did not have any close to us. I would not come back to this park. We camped at Lake Aire RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This campground was close to Charleston and Fort Sumter. An easy drive. Go to the visitors center to park, it was $4/day. You can ride the gray line bus but you can't hop on/off.

They do have free Trollies to ride which is nice.

There is a lot of information and maps in the visitor center.
