Summit Vacation Resort, New Braunfels, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 2 nights. In and out very tight in a 45 foot motorhome, but doable. They made sure I was free of trees for sat reception. I was a bit afraid of scratches from trees, but they were trimmed nicely. Very strong wi fi which surprised me. We didn't use restrooms or laundry, but everything looked quite clean. Power was acceptable, although had to run gen when stove, oven and A/C all running at same time. We camped at Summit Vacation Resort in a Motorhome.

Mount Pleasant KOA, Mt. Pleasant, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a really great spot for a stop over. Easy on/off I30. New owners are really nice and keep this KOA in really nice shape. Stayed here twice recently. Grounds are meticulously groomed and everything is clean. Excellent power for a large motorhome. Our 45 foot coach was easy to navigate in and out. The few permanent residents keep their places clean and uncluttered. Pull through concrete pad was long enough for both bus and toad. We will stay here again. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Motorhome.

Pelican Lake Motorcoach Resort, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

So...This was our second visit to Pelican Lake. We love this place. It's very quiet and has lots are privacy from neighbors due to ample vegetation between lots. Service this year was a bit disappointing. We have a Prevost which is a power hog I admit, but we generally don't have power issues, particularly at resorts. But we did here, and the office was less than concerned, blaming the issue on our bus, and didn't even install a new breaker for us. Setting that issue aside, the place is beautiful and we'll go back. Very friendly people, even if you're a renter. We camped at Pelican Lake Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.
