Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We had no reservation, but in October there is not much competition for sites. Nice space between sites. Well kept bathrooms. Wifi and cable worked well. Big mature trees. Level asphalt sites. We camped at Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Robert Newlon Airpark RV Park, Huntington, West Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

When we drove in we were underwhelmed by the appearance. No ambiance and the office was closed (2pm). Self registration packets were not available. We chose a site and called the number listed. The person we spoke to was to be at our site in an hour. No one ever showed up. We called the next morning and said that we were leaving. The person met us at the office and collected our fee. Passport good for only one night. The regular price was inflated and the Passport fee was also too high. The electric at our site did not work so we plugged into the site next door. Entertainment was provided by the 2am train that rumbled and tooted about 50 yards from our site. Avoid this site if possible. We camped at Robert Newlon Airpark RV Park in a Motorhome.

Caballo Lake RV Park, Caballo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

They have done a wonderful job of creating a homey environment for travelers. Nightly happy hour to exchange ideas and personal check-in make you feel welcome. No showers or bathrooms... no problem. Great view of the lake. We will stay here again. We camped at Caballo Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.
