Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This was our 2nd stay here and we would stay again if we have the opportunity. I have a 41 foot 5th wheel and the spot I was in was a little tricky because of other campers vehicles parked close to the road but I was able to get in okay. There are many rows that had plenty of room to manuver but we happened to have a site near the water that was tight. The facilities are well maintained and all the employees that we interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A Stone's Throw RV Park, Lamont, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

While this is not a "destination" campground it was a good value for an overnight stay. All the electric pedestals and water connections appeared to be recently replaced and in new condition. I have an electrical management system on my rig and when I plugged into the 50 amp service everything read fine. Also, all the roads and sites had fresh stone applied so there were no potholes. At night the entire campground was lit with a pleasing amber lighting that was not too bright but allowed you to see the entire area. There is a nearby truckstop and highway 10 but we found the noise level to be not bad. As stated in other reviews there is an honor system for payment and we spoke to the park manager on the phone who was polite and helpful with giving us information. We did not use any facilities so I cannot comment on those. The only suggestion I would have for the campground would be to trim the bush near the entrance which rubbed against my unit when I made the turn into the park. We camped at A Stone's Throw RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
