Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The park is right off the 5. Good location and close to everything. The park is extremely well kept up. Great staff. Nice amenities. We got a river view spot which was very nice. The fountain view spots are also nice. My only complaint is the noise from Interstate 5. Other than that, a great park. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Luigi's was great for pizza and they delivered. Peking Restaurant was only fair for Chinese food. There is a run down shopping center next door with just a rinky-dink grocery store but has a Shari's (good pie). Gas stations, restaurants and Main Street are all close.

Auburn Gold Country RV Park, Auburn, California

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We had a pull thru spot. We are 39'. There wasn't enough room for the truck and trailer so we had to unhook soon. The space was narrow. We could not open our awnings. The space was not even close to level. It threw our auto levelers into a tizzy. Each space has trees and bushes. The overall park was nice looking and clean. Lots of full time residents. A couple grassy areas for pets. Very noisy. People talking at night, the freeway was right there, helicopters and planes during the day. If you have a larger rig, do NOT stay here. It's tight because it's an older park. Anything over 35' is an issue. I would not stay here again. We camped at Auburn Gold Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hi Valley RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a month. This park is right next door to an older mobile home park and across the street from $300-400K homes. There are walking trails all over the place, through the hills, next to the canal, all the way down the greenbelt. There are a lot of long term residents and park models. Spaces are tight but the park is quiet. The maintenance staff is above and beyond. This park makes you feel welcome!! Laundry was clean, clubhouse was nice. Restrooms clean. Park was well kept. They pick up your trash if you leave it at the curb. They also will pick up your propane bottle, fill it and bring it back to your space. There's a lovely dog park with grass, tall trees and picnic tables. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Hi Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

WinCo and Home Depot down the street along with gas stations, a couple small eateries. Have to try Taco Del Mar!

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed 1 night but it's very clean. Our pull through site is large with a picnic table, some small trees and grass. We had an end space. There is a small doggy park that's all gravel. There are a lot of park models because there are a lot of seasonal construction workers. Everyone here is so friendly. There is a small casino, bar and grill next door. Food is okay. We got free vouchers to gamble. It was fun. It's scenic because you're near the large mountains. Overall I'd recommend the park and would stay here again. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
