Fleming Park / Lake Jacomo Campground, Blue Springs, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground. Roomy sites without trees. I cleaned some litter from ground on arrival, but we pulled in 10 minutes after previous folks left. The grounds were beautifyl, clean and we'll maintained. The Rangers and greeting attendant were very nice. We loved it. We camped at Fleming Park / Lake Jacomo Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We spent part of 4 days at the Arlee Celebration (Pow Wow), an amazing event that happens annually over July 4th. Missoula and Flathead Lake are interesting. The National Bison Range, Nine Pipes Museum, Peoples' Center Kerr Dam are all nearby and wonderful.

Cottonwood Camp, Fort Smith, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We loved the park and the staff. Wished we had chosen site on the right side with view and full hookup, $10 more/night, but our water/30/very roomy site was great. Definitely in the boonies. Best to have food and alcohol for your stay. A few sites had FHU. We drove into Ft Smith (about 5 miles) to dump at end of stay. We camped at Cottonwood Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Little Bighorn Battlefield (previously named Custer's Last Stand) is amazing. Worth a day there. Fishing is the big attraction, and our float trip with Jay on the Big Horn River was wonderful.

Seven Points Campground , Hesston, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park with lots to do. Basically clean, but our site was filthy on arrival. Half filled bag with cigarette butts and trash before we could settle in. Fireplace full of trash and ash. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots are spacious and offer some shade. Site surface is gravel and features a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at Seven Points Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

My very favorite Florida SP. Beautiful, spacious sites. 1/4 mile to the beach - fine white sand and emerald green Gulf water. No crowds...great sunsets. Fire pit. Nice hosts and rangers. We camped at Henderson Beach State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Williams is a neat little western town with focus on RT 66. Good meal at Poncho Mcgillicuddy's (Mexican).

Sedona is gorgeous. RR trip to Grand Canyon is great fun and worth every penny.

Del-Raton RV Park, Delray Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We were impressed with spacious sites, cleanliness, friendliness, price for a private city park. On the highway, but quiet. Unlike previous reviewer, we were offered a code for using showers after closing, as they are locked for security. We were offered names of local establishments. Highly recommend. We camped at Del-Raton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Curry Hammock State Park, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park in every way. Interesting reading negatives re: TV, Wi-Fi, full hookups, etc. Sewer not part of Florida SP with exception of ones that were previously private, e.g., Top Sail. The private parks on the Keys are expensive with close sites. Curry Hammock is a gem. We camped at Curry Hammock State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
