Faribault County Fairgrounds, Blue Earth, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Mostly new/renovated. Has 9 full service sites with 4 tent only sites. New playground and paved trail. Ball games going on not too far away all weekend. It's right next to the river valley so we saw lots of wildlife. There's a small historic building collection nearby too, but they are all locked. We camped at Faribault County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walking distance to Walmart, big Green Giant Statue, Dairy Queen, McDonalds and Subway. We couldn't find a grocery store or hardware store and nobody seemed to know where to look.

Nice place to stay and with the first night free, it only cost us $40 for 3 nights!

Faribault County Fairgrounds, Blue Earth, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Pretty newly redone. 9 full service sites with electricity, water, sewer, picnic table and fire ring. Very quiet with paved walking trail adjacent to campground. Grocery store, hardware store and eating establishment within walking distance. Very nice and not busy - baseball games going on the night we were there - enjoyed watching them. We camped at Faribault County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It looks like they have free firewood. The city workers were cleaning up the sites and doing some grooming when we were there. You can't beat the price. The restroom and showers were a little walk - not sure why they have a portable restroom with the shower house that close?
