Answer: The park was not busy when we visited it, but it can get busy with events in the area. I would strongly recommend making a reservation as soon as possible to guarantee a space. Hope this helps.

Answer: I can't speak for how busy the town and RV parks get during the spring festival, but we were there end of May and this park had plenty of availability. It was very quiet. It's a large park. We stayed in the older part and there were hardly any other campers...we only saw 1 family at the pool and no other movement other than them. We looked down into the newer part and it was more full (and nicer). I imagine a good bit of those were/are long-term or full-timers. We found the traffic on the Trace negligible as well. As far as traffic in and around Natchez...it wasn't crazy busy when we were there, but like so many other towns with festivals, I imagine it can get pretty busy during festivals, so you should be prepared for that. I would call and make a reservation at this park if you are concerned. If you are a Passport member... be sure to let them know so you can get that rate.
