Answer: We stayed at Sundermeier in St. Charles and really liked it. We agree about staying out of St. Louis. We went into the city for specific activities and then returned to Sundermeier. St. Charles is its own little town and quite charming.

Answer: My two choices were St Louis RV Park and the Casino in E Stl. While I agree that driving an RV around town is a lot of trouble (congestion - lack of parking, etc.) STL RV Park was perfect. They have a resident driver (on his own - not part of the park. He just parks his RV there). He's inexpensive (cheaper than Uber, etc., and he will take you to your destination and then come back for you when you are ready. Can't beat it. No traffic, no long drives to town or parking fees,. - just enjoy. I'd suggest you reconsider unless you need to be on the west side.

Answer: Not sure if this is in the right area, but 370 Lakeside Park in St. Peters is great. Very popular, so call first.

Answer: West of St Louis, we stayed at Country Garden RV Park in Odessa MO. It is a very nice park with good level sites. It may be farther west than you like. As a suggestion, I use All Stays app to locate parks on my route, then i use RV Park Reviews to decide if i want to stay there. All Stays charges a one time fee of about $9.00 when I signed up. It may be a little higher now, don't know for sure. I have found it to be a good source.

Answer: If you are staying in the area to do some sightseeing then this is the place to stay. It’s close to many interesting sites. But if you’re just passing through then check out some of the other suggestions made by others.
