Wonderful park and wonderful staff. The park was well manicured with long concrete sites and grassy areas between sites. No need to disconnect the tow dolly and wide enough to park the car next to the dolly. Very quiet and relaxing park. We have stayed in the Dothan area several times and find this RV park to be the best in appearance and value. We camped at Hidden Hollow in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This campground is located at the rear of a large casino / amphitheater that went bankrupt before opening. It is now being used as a bingo parlor. The campground itself is the new style cookie cutter same sites, all pull through. Sites are close together with wide long concrete parking pads that are somewhat level. As described the utilities are placed at the rear quarter of each site requiring long hoses and cables. AT&T and Verizon are good, the WIFI is spotty at best. There are no fire rings (not permitted) or picnic tables along with no restrooms or showers or laundry. The facility is very clean and maintained. This complex has possibilities but given the low usage rate and lack of customer draw I don't think it will survive much longer. This complex is located 9 miles south of Dothan, AL on US 231 We camped at Hidden Hollow in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed at this park 106 days and left in late March. This is a good campground with long & double wide concrete sites & asphalt roads. The staff is excellent. Had good AT&T Cell & 3 bars of LTE data, Good Dish Sat & 11 OTA channels. All sites are pull throughs & I agree with previous reviews concerning the sites and location of the utilities. Since I stayed there so long, I parked my tow in front of my MH which put my hookups in the ideal position. There were about 20 RVs belonging to construction workers. They were there to clean up from the hurricane. They were generally quiet but their diesel pickups were not at 6:00 am. Some of them were a little trashy also. They will be gone in a few weeks. This would be a really great campground with some repairs to the asphalt & concrete. Some of the sites need to be power washed. They are going to build a fenced dog walk & laundry/showers/toilets building. I gave them a 9 because I do not use any amenities except laundry. I found a nice one about 10 miles away. Paved sites & roads rank very high in my rating a campground. I enjoyed it there and Dothan has most of the businesses & restaurants you would find in larger cities. A Walmart is 9 miles away and a Publix is 10 miles. We camped at Hidden Hollow in a Motorhome.

There were four RV's total the night we stayed. The woman that greeted us in the office was very personable, helpful, and gave us a tour of the lodge where we checked in. As noted, your stay is 24 hours from when you check in. Nice now, but may cause issues when they have more business. Sites are relatively level and cement. Sky is open for satellite. My one complaint is the location of connections on the sites. They are located at the very rear. Our 43' motor-home and tow car were within 2-3 feet of filling the entire pad. Had we wanted to connect the sewer it would have required 30 ft of sewer hose. As another review stated, you MUST use a pressure regulator for city water. I checked it before connecting and read 120 lbs. That is the most I have seen in eleven years. We camped at Hidden Hollow in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We came here in mid September and could not believe what we saw. A completely empty RV Park. All 78 sites were empty. This RV Park is completely open, no shade anywhere. They spent a lot of money building this place and got it all wrong. The big wide slabs have settling problems where the utilities were buried. As a result our left rear tires came off the ground. Not all pads have this problem, but a lot of the sites I could see from our site did. Rows A, C & E all have afternoon sun on the windshield and curb side. Rows B & D have morning sun. Beware the killer water pressure, even with our water partially open, the pressure built up enough to blow open the pressure relief value on our hot water heater. That was a first for us. This kind of water pressure is not acceptable in an RV Park. Reservations work on a 24 hour basis, so if you come in early make sure you leave early. OTA TV was fair. Wi-fi was very good, but there was no one else here. We camped at Hidden Hollow in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful facility attached to a new construction B&B on the site of a former casino, now converted to a bingo hall. The price is fantastic for the amenities provided. A great place to overnight or stay while visiting Dothan. If you need WIFI stay close to the B&B. The signage at the highway entrance is not sufficient, so call ahead. The site was apparently intended to be "Branson" style, but the state shut down the illegal gambling. Reportedly lots of Nashville money invested. Not much else at the site except the bingo hall with "no-pay" slots. Close to Dothan. 24 hour access to the new construction B&B. We camped at Hidden Hollow in a Motorhome.
