This is a very peaceful campground. Our four children want to go every weekend. The campground is very well maintained and clean. I highly recommend this campground to anyone. The sites on the creek were $29.00 a night and the other sites were $26.00 a night....well worth the money! - Rachel_Mcleod

Oct 2018 - $16.00
This quiet Escambia County (FL) park is located on a ridge surrounded on three sides by an impounded lake that is lightly used for bream and bass fishing. There are no reservations. Sites are semi-shaded to sunny. Camping pads are packed gravel and grassy, and drop off to the rear (if you are on the water side, sometimes hard to find level ground for lawn chairs). Hook-ups were fine, but the electrical boxes were showing some age and likely need to have breakers replaced. Voltage was strong. Grass was clipped short and comfortable to walk around on. Fire ants were common. Roadway system is a very coarse gravel which appears to be deteriorated asphalt, impossible for children to bicycle on and rough to walk on. Potholes being filled with dirt fill. Perhaps too much outdoor lighting at night, almost urban. Small playground available for kids. Very nice indoor pavilion available for rental. DTV consisted of all networks and channels in the Pensacola/Mobile market. Cell phone service with Sprint was simply terrible. WiFi was at the front of the campground but was sketchy, at best, in the main camping area at the water. Wild ducks, herons, eagles, beavers frequent the lake edge, fun to watch. CR 4, leading to the campground, is a bit narrow, and the speed limit in front of the campground is 55 mph. Century itself has a few fast food restaurants, convenience stores. Nothing for a tourist to do, very downscale. Campground quite okay for multiple nights, especially if you are into fishing and simply relaxing by the lake. - The Happy Traveler
Feb 2011 - $10.00
No sewage at sites. Some pine trees, and no shade. A long way from any stores or attractions. Clean, quiet. Large pretty lake. No gasoline motors allowed on the lake. - NORM W
Mar 2009 - $15.00
This campground is about 40 miles north of Pensacola off of U.S. 29. Take CR 4 westbound and go about 2 miles. Entrance is on the left next to the flagpole. Pluses: Nice view of lake. Quiet at night (and in the day), no highway noise in back of campground. Rest rooms reasonably clean, not perfect. Boat launch nearby. Only electric motors and hand paddling allowed. A nice environment for a canoe or kayak, as well as a bass boat. There is a small children playground. Minuses: Very little to do other than fish, paddle, or look at the lake. Nearby town of Century has little in the way of tourism or attraction. There is a prison across the lake (not visible), but the inmates could be heard at basketball break. Hope the razor wire holds tonight. Surprisingly, a few long-term people have taken up residence in a county-owned park. Policies for long-term stays are full of loopholes which allow this. Overall: A nice place for a brief getaway or if traveling through. - The Happy Traveler

Apr 2018 - $25.00
The campground is owned by the Poarch Creek Indians. The place is beautiful. Many, many acres of wooded area, a lake, a river for tubing, zip lining, canoeing, and bicycling. It is a great place for families. The season hadn't started yet so it was very quiet. It was so quiet that we had trouble going to sleep. Our site was a level dirt spot, with electric and water, no dump, WiFi, or cable; we could get OTA channels. The roads were very easy to negotiate and there were washers and dryers, 75 cents each. Alcohol and firearms are not allowed. It's a beautiful place and would be great for family reunions or groups. They allow fishing; I don't fish so I know nothing about it. I would give the campground a 10 for beauty and serenity. Since there is not a sewer at the site I gave it the 8. We would stay again. - Living the Life
Feb 2018 - $25.00
Camped here 2 nights to attend events in Mobile, AL about 1 hour further south. Very clean area. Sites are hard packed gravel and was level. Campground is about 9 miles from interstate. Staff was great to deal with. A gate code is required to enter. Several fishing lakes around and during season they rent kayaks and tubes to float on the river. We will stay here again. - bowl2764
Feb 2017 - $15.00
This a regular snowbird stop for me. One of my favorite places. They're replacing the old doublewide office with a true show place built from local lumber. Rumor has it other improvements are in the works. A new bathhouse/laundry was mentioned but I didn't hear a time table. The horse stalls lost their roof in a storm so they will be getting an upgraded too. This place is downright serene this time of year. I understand it's full of families and kids during the summer when all the water activities are available. - ljr

Dec 2016 - $11.00
Although it is relatively primitive, all of the sites feature electricity, water and waste. It is owned by the local Wally Byam unit (Pensacola). We were here over the New Year's Weekend and were very happy to be in such a quiet, pretty spot abutting state wildlife management preserves. The hosts were delightful and full of good local information. While the sites are situated very close to one another, there were very few people here so it was quite spacious. - Eugeria
Oct 2014 - $18.00
Mystic springs cove is an WBCCI club owned, airstream-only park located 25 mi. N of Pensacola, FL. 58 sites total, 50 with full hook-up. Some pull-through sites available. Open year round. Courtesy parking to all Airstream owners.
Sites are hard pack sand, well drained. A washer and dryer are available at the club house. Pets welcome, leashed and picked up after. Call ahead for weekends as Club members often sew up the sites. Weekdays have plenty of open sites, most of the time. - wilmaine

Dec 2018 - $38.00
This is our second time staying here. The first time was the same problem - there's actually no one in the RV building where you check in. You have to call the hotel and they will send a shuttle to come and get you and take you back to the hotel where you can reserve a site. So that was our first problem, and now they're saying there is no shuttle and they don't know when it will come. Just an extremely piss poor way to run an RV park. Have plenty of hair in your head so you can pull it all out from frustration. - Danvango
Aug 2018 - $38.00
RV Park is very nice. Large, spacious cement sites with grass between. Plenty long enough for our 40ft MH and Jeep. All sites are pull through and 30/50snp FHU. - Cfvalk
Apr 2018 - $28.00
As typical of Casino RV Parks, they have paved sites with grass in between. No trees but very clean and well kept. The laundry room has one washer and one dryer. Small playground. We would stay there again. - GranNan06

New management lots of confusion.....arrived pools or hot tub not usable...park was still covered with leaves, pine needles and needed some maintainance overall high priced for services available has great possibilties. - rickstacs
Sep 2015 - $35.00
If there are any 50 amp sites here, I sure didn't see them. Maybe they are the ones the park models or seasonal/permanent RVs are hooked up to. It's pretty annoying to be in Florida and not be able to use the a/c because all I have is a 30 amp hookup. I walked the park with my dog - there are no 50 amp sites available to transients. There are very few pull through sites also. NOT cool to advertise a service and then not provide it. Otherwise, the park is gorgeous. Heavily wooded and quiet, spacious sites. The staff is terrific. - Spike in FL
May 2015 - $35.00
The campground was very clean and a nice little get away in the woods. Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a lot different than most other parks I've been to. The staff was very friendly and helpful, you could tell they really cared for the place. They had two pools and a hot tub. They had a full tennis court and volley ball court. We used their fire pit and their BBQ grill all of which was top notch. We tool a peak in some of their cabins. They looked like they have been kept up really well and renovated. It looked nicer than most hotel rooms I get! - mike_h230

Campround is no owned by a church. Only 22 sites available. They closed off all the others. Quite well maintained by church. They are VERY . strict. Nothing is allowed out. - forty4san
Mar 2013 - $26.00
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our phone navigator led us to the wrong place. If you use the road address, you will have better luck. We anticipated there being laundry facilities here, but there are NONE. This is a church camp of sorts, but it appears to be the off season, so only a few longtimers here and two of us overnighters. A nice country setting in a large grassy clearing surrounded by woods. Nice! - Red Wolf Deux
Jan 2008 - $16.00
There is no office or camp host to check in with; all contact via phone; only a self check-in at the club house (with kitchen/tables) with a rate sheet posted and sign-in sheet provided, which was not advised when called. An RV group had sites with full hook-ups so other campers had to use other sites that have w/e only; those are along the road and in a field. The one perk was that a sliding scale is used for each additional night stayed. The Opry House was open on Fri/Sat. for dinner with a band but was closed by 9 p.m. Park has gravel roads and sites. Sites along the road have trees and can be tricky getting into except for end site. Note: If parking along the road near Opry House, your rig could be blocked by Opry guest vehicles. While the campground is quiet it was still a distance from town. If ever in the area again, we would not stay here but this is a good campground for RV groups. - Donna Butler

Sep 2016 - $15.00
Peaceful park with nice view. That's all. Interior road washed out. There's very few fish in the lake but two alligators. Look out for small pets. Bath houses stay locked. Playground equipment broken. We ended up leaving because the owners husband screamed and cursed at my girlfriend (while I was at work) because her aunt broke the 10mph speed limit. :( - Jason Stanford
Jun 2016 - $10.00
This is a beautiful park, the new owners keep it nice. 3 lakes, children's playground, good fishing lots of walking space. They are going to put restrooms and showers and laundry mat back in and still fixing roads but there are some good roads. A beautiful swimming hole and a place for children roped off to swim and picnic tables and fireplace pit on site. If you like quietness and country living this is perfect for you. We got here on june lst 2016 and intend on staying. We are seniors. Lpve it. - carolyn
Mar 2010 - $12.00
This rate is Passport America. Apparently this is a new owner for a year and we can see there have been improvements. Owner is very accommodating. The hook ups are new and great. The washroom and showers are disgusting and should be torn down. Big bump turning into grounds and bumpy rough hill. Garbage bin is parked in front and tractors are parked in front too. - Snooker2

Really nice and friendly staff. The surrounding were lovely. I would highly reccommend it to anyone. Clean, spacious, close to the beach too. - FloridaGrandma
Nov 2010 - $20.00
This is a funky little campground that brings back memories of what Florida State Parks used to look like. It is located on Coldwater Creek at the Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center. The loop road and sites are unpaved (read "sandy") across a short wooden bridge. Sites are spacious, private and level. The bathhouses are what I call "Maine-camp style", but were clean and well maintained. Nearby are the canoe and kayak rentals that this area is noted for (shuttles provided to Coldwater Creek and other area rivers and streams). There are also camping cabins, two bedroom structures on stilts, near the CG as well a a bunk house. This would be a good place for a family or group to stay together if everyone didn't want to camp. It is a beautiful area with lots of outdoor things to do (they have a ropes course and several ziplines), but it is basic: no frills. We loved it! - canoeperson
