Very nicely manicured park that has lots of long-term residents. For our 3 night stay we were placed in a large, wide open pull-through that was on gravel & was narrow. No table or fire pit. That being said, it was perfect for our needs (chores/errands/down time). Staff was friendly and we were completely comfortable here. There's an AT&T tower on site (seriously, surrounded by RVs so strong signal. I believe the Verizon tower was right across the street. Be careful making the left into the park, but we had no issues. We camped at Georgia Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is by far the best rv park we have stayed in since going full time. The grounds are immaculate and well manicured. The owners and staff here never stop working or offering assistance for what your needs might be. The pool is salt water and crystal clear, cable tv is very good as is WIFI. The game room offers a pool table, pinball machine and crafts. The pull through lots are very wide and level. There are a lot of permanent rv's here on concrete slabs and are very well maintained and everyone here is very friendly. We will definitely return here when in the area. We camped at Georgia Mountain RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. The area for weekend visitors has long pull-through full hookup 50 amp sites with gravel and no grass. Across the driveway is a large grassy area to take your dogs. No picnic table. Very nice landscaping between the sites and a little pond with lilypads. It is gated so they give you a code to get in and The staff leads you to your campsite on a golf cart. The water pressure is a little low at 40 PSI. If you arrive from Arab or Union Grove on AL 69 it will be on the right side. This way is easier to see the entrance sign and safer because you don't have to cross the other lane on a hill. It's a quiet and relaxing campground with seasonal campers. Guntersville has lots of shopping and restaurants and is a fisherman's paradise. We camped at Georgia Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Harmony Park Safari in Huntsville is a drive-through zoo where you feed animals from your vehicle. It was great fun! Papa Dubi's is a Cajun restaurant in Guntersville.

Upon our arrival, we couldn't help but notice the 5.1 mph speed limit sign! We got a good chuckle out of that, but I could swear that one lady was cruising along on her golf cart doing AT LEAST 5.5 mph!!! haha. We met the "Sheriff" at the gate. Park manager wears a baseball cap that says Sheriff and his golf cart has a blue light on top, so he patrols the park. We called him when we were about 15 mins out to alert him of our ETA. He let us in upon arrival, & led us to our camp site. Check in was as easy as handing him our card at the site, he swiped it with his phone, handed us a receipt, and voila! We were checked in. Easy peasy! All sites are gravel, long and spacious, and pull-thru. Our site could have easily fit two of our 26' Class C rvs and a long bed pick-up. I believe only permanent residents (along the perimeter of the park) have concrete pads. The park is set up so that all traffic flows in one direction. Big rigs should have no trouble maneuvering. We were quite pleased with the fact that the power (both 30 and 50 amp), water, AND sewer hook-ups were located alongside the rig in a grass strip, about 5' wide, that separates each site. So convenient!! Just a few steps from our rig was the bathrooms and laundry building - all of which were meticulous and roomy. We were there in January, so the grounds were bare, but I can imagine that this place is gorgeous in the spring, summer and fall. The grounds are well maintained and there is a pool patio area with picnic tables, benches, soda machine, a swing set for children. Also noticed horseshoes, a gold fish pond with a small waterfall, & walking trails. There are fire rings around the park. Wifi and cell signal were excellent. Park is pet friendly. The only downside was the amount of traffic noise we heard from the road, but when trees are blooming, it should buffer the noise. Everyone was friendly and nice. We enjoyed our stay. We camped at Georgia Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nicest park in Guntersville!

They have the largest pull through sites of any campground we have ever stayed in. I have a Lincoln Navigator and pull an Airstream. I also have a 1946 Diamond T Truck that we take with us for fun. I can fit all of this on the lot plus 2 more vehicles if needed.

The park is clean and safe. They have recently won a beautification award from Guntersville.

Restrooms are nice, very, very clean.

WiFi is the best of any park we have stayed at.

We have stayed a month and will definitely return. My wife is from Guntersville so we come here 2-3 times per year.

The staff and owners are very friendly.

Originally we planned to stay a few days, then decided to stay a week, then 2 and in a few days we will have been here a month!

I could say many more great things about this park but space is limited. We camped at Georgia Mountain RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is really a hidden gem!

Our site was gravel but there are some sites with large concrete pads.

Only negative is entering the park if you are coming up Georgia Mountain from Guntersville. The park is located just before the crest so you need to be a little careful.

You will not be sorry you stayed at the Georgia Mountain RV Resort!
